Chris Evans has worn several different Captain America costumes ever since he took up the mantle all those years ago in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and now he's revealed his favorite one. Evans made his debut as Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, in Joe Johnston's Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011, and then reprised his role one year later in Joss Whedon's The Avengers. But it wasn't until Anthony and Joe Russo's Captain America: The Winter Soldier released that he hit his stride.

In regards to quality and impact, The Winter Soldier was a game-changer for the shared universe. And since Steve had finally been fully established in the present day in that film, it made sense that he got some sort of uniform upgrade, which is a tradition that has continued in the vast majority of his on-screen appearances. While most of Cap's uniforms have remained mostly the same, albeit with some slightly noticeable differences, the costume from The Winter Soldier is arguably his best one - and that's a notion Evans appears to agree with.

Speaking to audiences during a panel at ACE Comic Con in Chicago this weekend, Chris Evans revealed which Captain America costume that he would be comfortable with wearing everyday for the rest of his lift. And it turns out that his favorite suit among all the ones that the Stark family (and S.H.I.E.L.D., for that matter) had crafted for him is the Stealth Suit from The Winter Soldier (h/t The Marvel Report).

So far, Evans has worn nine different Captain America costumes across his six main appearances in the MCU (not counting cameos in other movies like Spider-Man: Homecoming), of which three were from his very first movie. And while the uniform he wore in Avengers: Infinity War looks different compared to the one audiences last saw him wearing in Captain America: Civil War, it's actually the same suit... just de-colorized and slightly modified. That's because Steve had gone underground and operated alongside a handful of other superheroes as the Secret Avengers following his bout with Iron Man and the Sokovia Accords. At that point, he was no longer Captain America but rather only Steve Rogers.

What's interesting is that this isn't the only time Evans has expressed his desire to wear the Stealth Suit more; he mentioned that he preferred that costume over his other ones around the time that Civil War hit theaters in 2016. But, it's possible that the actor may change his mind by the time the Russos' Avengers 4 hits theaters next year, for it looks like Cap is getting a costume upgrade one last time, at least that appears to be the case based on a handful of Avengers 4 artwork that has popped up online.
