Chris Evans reveals his somewhat unique choice for which fellow actor he would like to see play him in a biopic of his life. Currently in the midst of promoting his latest project, Lightyear, the film sees Evans lend his vocal talents to the animated film's titular character. Created by Pixar, the film serves as somewhat of a prequel to the much-loved Toy Story films as it details the origin story of the fictional astronaut who inspired the creation of the Buzz Lightyear toy. Next month also sees Evans reunite with Marvel directors the Russo brothers in Netflix's The Gray Man, which will see the actor take on more of a villainous role.

These exciting new projects come after Evans' role as Captain America within the Marvel Cinematic Universe came to a satisfying conclusion in 2019's Avengers: Endgame. Having originated the role back in 2011, Evans has since become one of the MCU's most recognized faces, having starred as the beloved comic book hero for almost 10 years. Prior to his entry into the MCU, Evans already had a number of standout roles under his belt, including his Marvel debut as Johnny Storm in 2005's Fantastic Four. With an already extensive back catalog of impressive projects and, by the looks of it, many more to come, Evans has an interesting choice in mind for who could emulate him in the future.

During Buzzfeed's ever-popular puppy interview, Evans was posed a number of questions, including who he would like to see play both him and his brother, Scott in a future biopic of his life. The actor offered a rather unexpected choice for who could play him, immediately citing Adam Driver as his first choice, joking "[let's] see what he does." As for his brother, Evans joked that "only Scott can play Scott." Check out Evans' full quote below.

Let's cast Adam Driver, see what he does! And who would I cast to play Scott? God, that's a good question. I don't know, I think only Scott can play Scott.

Adam Driver in Amazon's The Report

Driver boasts an equally strong resume having not only starred as Kylo Ren across the Star Wars sequel trilogy but also having appeared in a number of major films including Marriage Story and The Last Duel. Driver is currently slated to star in a handful of exciting projects over the next few years, including Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis. With Evans having recently shared his desire to join the Star Wars universe, paired with the news that Driver hasn't ruled out a potential return to the franchise at some point in the future means that there is a now a possibility that the pair could cross paths on screen, giving Evans the chance to pitch his idea to Driver.

Set to star in the upcoming biopic titled Ferrari, Driver most certainly has the acting chops to pull off the role of Hollywood superstar Evans, however, he is a particularly random choice given that the two bear almost no resemblance to one another and are also both relatively close in age. It's not known if Evans' suggestion was simply in jest or whether this is a casting choice that he has previously thought long and hard about. However, it's fair to say that this bizarre suggestion certainly sparks some curiosity as to how an Evans biopic with Driver as its lead star would play out.
