Chloe Trautman will not stand by and let Kelsey Owens call Siesta Key fake, so she let her costar know exactly how she feels. Kelsey was unexpectedly fired from the MTV reality tv series in August as she walked on set to film a scene. The star was devastated that she would no longer be on the show and was especially hurt by how producers let her know. In a recent Instagram post, Kelsey shared a photo of her and her boyfriend, Max Strong, and in the caption, she expressed how happy she is to spend real time with her boyfriend instead of creating fake drama with him on Siesta Key.

Chloe took Kelsey's caption as a personal attack and quickly responded. Instagram account @mtv_reality_teaa shared a screenshot of Chloe's Instagram story about Kelsey's post and a screenshot of Kelsey's response. Chloe called Kelsey "selfish" for making her post the day the Siesta Key Miami Moves trailer was released. She also accused Kelsey of trying to discredit everyone's hard work that went into making the season, and she believes Kelsey is still hurt about being let go from the show. According to Chloe, Kelsey wasn't fired, and she knew that she was only needed for a few episodes of the new season. "You know how hard all the cast has worked to create season after season of Siesta Key," Chloe wrote. "You know how hard it is to film a season." The star elaborated that the cast is often drained, depressed, and can't sleep because of filming.

Kelsey responded on her own Instagram story with a screenshot of Chloe's Tweet, where she also talked about Kelsey's post. The Siesta Key star explained that her post was referencing the drama producers encouraged her to fake, but had nothing to do with her costars. "I am excited for my fellow cast members & all their hard work & hope there is nothing but amazing success for them in the future," Kelsey wrote. Later on Twitter, Juliette defended herself, saying while others may fake drama on the show, she never has. Max also shared a video where he suggested Chloe is "batsh*t crazy."

One fan called Kelsey's post "uncalled for and a total dig at the show." It's understandable why Chloe felt disrespected by Kelsey's post. Especially since she showcases her own relationship on the show, and so far, there hasn't been much drama. She and Chris Long appear very authentic on Siesta Key. The timing of the post was clearly intentional since the rest of the cast was celebrating getting to share the new season with fans. While she may have strictly been referring to her own drama, Chloe isn't wrong in feeling like Kelsey was undermining all the hard work the rest of the cast put into the season.

However, Kelsey does have a right to be upset. She's been a part of the show since season one and never held back from telling the world her story. From her relationship with Garrett Miller to her mother's battle with multiple sclerosis, Kelsey has always been vulnerable on Siesta Key. Maybe her post wasn't meant to hurt anyone but was her way of letting fans know that she's okay with not being on the show anymore and that she's actually doing better now that she's done filming. Both perspectives are valid, but hopefully, Chloe and Kelsey are able to patch things up before Siesta Key Miami Move premieres.
