Christopher Robin is the charming live-action movie starring Ewan McGregor as the adult Christopher Robin. In a time of crisis, with his work pulling him away from his wife (Hayley Atwell) and daughter (Bronte Carmichael), Christopher Robin is reunited with his childhood pals: Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, and more.

While it's easy to recognize the human cast of Christopher Robin, it's not so easy to know who's lending their voices to the toys - especially since the voice cast has changed since the last big-screen adventure in Hundred Acre Wood. Here's our rundown of who's who.

Jim Cummings is Winnie the Pooh and Tigger

Jim Cummings has been lending his voice to Winnie the Pooh since 1988, and Tigger since 1989. To bring the bear of very little brain and his bouncy friend to life in Christopher Robin, there couldn't be any other choice. Cummings has also voiced many other Disney animated characters, including Darkwing Duck in Ducktales and Pete the Cat from various Mickey Mouse animated films. Cummings also took over the singing voice for Scar in The Lion King when Jeremy Irons became unwell. Outside of Disney, Cummings is also known as the voice of Taz, the Tasmanian Devil for Warner Bros. In total, Cummings has voiced over 400 roles, but will always be renowned for giving life to Pooh’s lilting, gentle tones, and Tigger’s bouncy laugh.

Brad Garrett is Eeyore

Christopher Robin marks the first time Brad Garrett has voiced Eeyore, the often-gloomy donkey, but Garrett’s distinctive deep voice has landed him prolific voice work during his career. He’s voiced Bloat in Pixar’s Finding Nemo and Finding Dory, as well as Chug for Disney’s Planes and Planes: Fire and Rescue. Garrett has also voiced characters in Night at the Museum, Ratatouille, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. As an actor, Garrett is best known for playing the role of Robert Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond. Garrett is also a stand-up comic and professional poker player.

Nick Mohammed is Piglet

Nick Mohammed is a British comedian and actor. He’s written and starred in two seasons of Detective Sergeant Nick Mohammed for BBC Radio 4, as well as having a supporting role in Drifters for Channel 4 in the UK. Mohammed has also taken various roles in children’s television, but Piglet in Christopher Robin is his first major voice role.

Peter Capaldi is Rabbit

Peter Capaldi is better known as an actor than a voice artist, and especially for playing the twelfth Doctor in Doctor Who until recently. He’s also known for his role of the sardonic Malcolm Tucker in In The Thick of It, a role which earned him 4 BAFTA Award nominations, and plays Mr. Curry in the Paddington movies. Capaldi is also a highly regarded director and writer, winning an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film and a BAFTA for Best Short Film for his film Franz Kafka's It's A Wonderful Life. He has also directed 2 seasons of sitcom Getting On.

Sophie Okonedo and Sara Sheen are Kanga and Roo

Sophie Okonedo, who voices Kanga in Christopher Robin, is a prolific TV and film actress who received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Hotel Rwanda. She has also earned BAFTA TV Award nominations for her roles in Criminal Justice and Mrs. Mandela. Okonedo has also achieved several accolades for her stage work too, winning a Tony Award for her portrayal of Ruth Younger in A Raisin in the Sun.

Sara Sheen is a British child actor. She has starred as Matilda in the West End musical of the same name. Voicing Roo in Christopher Robin is her first major film role.

Toby Jones is Owl

Toby Jones has a wide and varied career across film, television, and on stage. His TV roles include Culverton Smith in Sherlock’s "The Lying Detective," Roger Yount in Capital, and Neil Baldwin in Marvellous. On the big screen, Jones has appeared in Finding Neverland, Captain America: Winter Soldier, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and The Snowman, to name but a few. Most recently, Jones played the role of auctioneer Gunnar Eversol in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Owl is not Jones’ first voice acting role; he also voiced Dobby in the Harry Potter movies.
