Like the Zodiac, movies that we call chick flicks come with different moods. It could be because of the personality of a lead heroine, or how silly or serious the plot is, or even the tone of the direction. Put all these factors together, and you'll see: while they may all fall under one particular umbrella, no two of these movies are exactly alike.

If you're looking to curl up and reach for a good chick flick this evening, but can't really decide which one to watch, maybe step back and take a look at your personality: Your zodiac sign might be able to help you decide. There's something for everyone, from wild fire signs to grounded earth signs.

Aries: The Princess Diaries 2

Aries are the type to be brave and bold and put themselves out there. They are passionate trailblazers who fight for their beliefs, which is exactly what Princess Mia does in The Princess Diaries 2 when she agrees to go through with an arranged marriage in order to secure her position as Queen of Genovia.

Mia's traits of courage and her willingness to do what's right not only by her country, but by herself, mixed with passionate forbidden romance make this movie the perfect match for a wild-hearted Aries.

Taurus: Pride And Prejudice

Tauruses are all about refinement, dignity, and the finer things in life, which is exactly the vibe that the 2005 film Pride and Prejudice has to offer. All of the social necessities of Regency England combined with a love too strong to smother and too stubborn to quit make this a total Taurus movie, especially because Tauruses know a thing or two about being stubborn.

The discerning Taurus will find it impossible to resist the subtlety, artistry, and overall nuance that is this film, and will enjoy feeling like they are a member of high society in the distant past as they watch.

Gemini: Mean Girls

Gemini get a reputation for being two-faced, it's true, but that's not the only reason that Mean Girls makes the perfect chick flick for them. Geminis are all about communication and being yourself, no matter how crazy that self turns out to be. In Mean Girls, Cady Heron learns exactly what she needs to do to fit in...but also learns that doing so might be more trouble than it's worth.

A movie about breakdowns in communication (be it lies, twisting of the truth, or willful deceit) as well as learning to break the mold of what you're "supposed to be" couldn't be more Gemini if it tried.

Cancer: The Notebook

Cancers are nurturers by nature, and roots and family are also very important to them. As such, a movie like The Notebook, which tells the story of a love built to withstand time, war, and prejudice and last for the long haul, is a match made in heaven for Cancers. Allie and Noah's love is true faith and dedication, and that is the kind of love that families are built on.

It doesn't hurt either that Cancers are the most in touch with their feelings of all the signs, and are therefore the best equipped to deal with all of the gut-wrenching, bittersweet tears that come with finishing this movie.

Leo: Clueless

As if Leos could be any other chick flick besides CluelessIn this totally 90's retelling of Jane Austen's Emma, high-school queen Cher Horowitz has to learn that she is not, in fact, the center of the universe. But, she also learns that she can take her bold, energetic personality and channel it towards the greater good.

Clueless is the perfect movie for all of those Leos who know what they want and aren't afraid to say it — and Cher is the perfect heroine for their ineffable style and confidence.

Virgo: You've Got Mail

Another movie that's very 90's, though in an entirely different way, You've Got Mail is the best chick flick for a Virgo. It's got all of the sensible, cerebral subtlety of Pride and Prejudice, (and a lot of the plot) perfect for an Earth sign, but with a modern twist of corporate resistance that will appeal to the service-minded Virgo, who cares more about well-being and honest work than anything else.

Virgos will relate to Meg Ryan's Kathleen Kelly right away, and will be just as passionate in their attachment to the Shop Around The Corner — and to young Tom Hanks' annoyingly irresistible Joe Fox, too.

Libra: Legally Blonde

Balance, harmony, grace, and style: That's what Libras are about. These air signs will do anything for love, but will also do anything to have unity and peace in their lives. Therefore, they will relate very strongly to Elle Woods, the woman who so much cannot withstand her world being upended by a breakup that she goes to Harvard to prove to the man of her dreams that she can fit into his world.

Legally Blonde is not only the perfect Libra movie because of Elle Woods' impeccable style, nor her desire for kindness and harmony among those she loves: It's also an excellent reminder that sometimes, you can achieve balance in your life in ways you didn't expect.

Scorpio: Pretty Woman

Scorpio are the most intense and passionate of all the signs, and they're not afraid to show it, either. These traits, plus their extreme seriousness, make them a perfect match for the movie Pretty Womanin which a prostitute and a wealthy businessman cross paths and must learn to navigate each others' worlds.

The film and the passionate love affair within it are as intense as any Scorpio, but that's not the only reason it earned this spot: Scorpios also thrive on the meeting of minds and the synthesis of ideas, which is what the entire relationship between Edward and Vivian is founded on.

Sagittarius: What A Girl Wants

It's obvious just from the title that What A Girl Wants is the right chick flick matchup for the go-getting Sagittarius. Those are traits that leading lady Daphne Reynolds shares when she runs away to London to go meet the father she never knew.

This chick flick has everything a Sagittarius could want: Fun, adventure, intercontinental travel, rebellion, and romance to boot. This risk-taking sign will have the satisfaction of seeing high-risk turn into high-reward over and over as the movie goes on.

Capricorn: Miss Congeniality

Diligent, hard-working, focused, and goal-oriented, Capricorns have a lot to admire in Sandra Bullock's character, agent Gracie Hart of the FBI. Though she is thrown into an undercover operation at a beauty pageant just because she looks the part, she is tenacious and dedicated to her case.

Capricorns will feel a great sense of justice in watching Miss Congeniality and seeing Gracie be rewarded for doing her job thoroughly and correctly, despite the nay-sayers.

Aquarius: The Princess Diaries

Out of all of them, Aquarius is the sign most concerned with issues of innovation and social justice. So watching Mia Thermopolis struggle with her newfound role as Princess of Genovia in The Princess Diaries is exactly what the doctor ordered as far as chick flicks go.

Honestly, Aquariuses might relate more to Mia's best friend Lily at first, and her pushing Mia to accept her lot without a second thought and use it to champion good causes will seem like a frustratingly obvious choice. But watching Mia grow comfortable with her ability to hold power and use her voice will be all the more satisfying for it in the end.

Pisces: Enchanted

Pisces are dreamers, and are concerned with the ideals of imagination and artistry. This, plus their extreme compassion, make Disney's Enchanted the perfect chick flick for them. They'll relate to Amy Adams' compassionate Giselle more and more as the show goes on, as she becomes less flighty and more grounded in reality — while still maintaining her ineffable hope and her love of fantasy and romance.

The creativity of the half-animated, half live-action film that pokes fun at Disney's Princess tropes, while acknowledging the good in them, is a level of imagination and creativity that vibes with Pisces perfectly.
