Stella Kidd's fate after the season 10 cliffhanger finale is revealed in a new Chicago Fire season 11 set video. The pioneering show in Dick Wolf's Chicago-set procedural franchise wrapped up its first decade on a high note, with Kelly Severide and Kidd finally tying the knot. The occasion was a long time coming and, after some back-and-forth from the couple themselves, they decided to push through with the wedding, which was a cause for celebration for Firehouse 51.

Unfortunately, NBC just couldn't let the Chicago Fire season 10 finale wrap up with a purely happy ending. After the festivities, Severide and Kidd immediately went on their honeymoon trip, which was in a nearby cabin. Just as they settled in their temporary accommodations, a mysterious SUV appeared after following them. While it's currently unknown who was in that black car, it's heavily suggested that they are up to no good. Given this, there are some concerns that Chicago Fire season 11 will kick off with a tragedy.

Luckily, fans won't have to wait until One Chicago returns this fall to know what happens to Kidd. In a new set video shared on social media by Daniel Kyri (via @Stellabrett12), the new Mrs. Severide is seen back in Firehouse 51, and since she's noticeably wearing her ring, it means whatever she and the cast are filming for Chicago Fire season 11 takes place after her wedding and honeymoon. With Kidd's safety pretty much guaranteed, the key question becomes what happens to her groom. The clip doesn't feature Severide, although that doesn't mean something dire happens to him during the expected altercation between them and some unknown goons. In any case, when Taylor Kinney discussed Severide's season 11 storyline, he gave no indication his character will be in serious danger. In fact, he even said he is very excited about what the future holds for him and Kidd. Not that there's a big chance NBC would kill either of them, considering how popular they are both separately and together, but it's still great to have reassurance that Severide and Kidd are going to be okay.

The question now is how exactly the Chicago Fire season 10 finale cliffhanger will be resolved. Chances are that whoever was tailing them had something to do with the drug case Severide stumbled upon just before he tied the knot. The case was already passed off to Voight's Intelligence team in Chicago PD, so it's possible that they might have a hand in resolving the issue. That means that Chicago Fire and Chicago PD will have a mini-crossover when they both return with new episodes in September.
