After her appearance in Cheer season 2, Brooke Morosca became a household name among the show's viewers, and she is best remembered for not making mat in the first episode. Losing the coveted spot to skilled cheerleaders with better all-around skills, including social media superstar Gabi Butler, really hurt her. Brooke was relegated to being an alternate flyer for the 2019-2020 season. However, her hard work and dedication to the team never waned. Her positive attitude and relentless dedication won viewers' hearts, instantly making her a fan favorite.

As well, her emotional backstory captivated viewers. Brooke lost her father at the tender age of 9, and she was raised by her single mother, Gina Morosca, who made huge financial sacrifices so that Brooke and her sister Nikki Morosca could stay in competitive cheerleading. The close-knit bond between Brooke and her mother was most apparent when Brooke called her mother to tearfully share the disappointing news that she would need to be an alternate again. Fans fell in love with the mother and daughter duo and have been wondering what the two are up to now.

The second-year alternate flyer, Brooke Morosca completed her two-year program at Navarro College in 2020, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. She opted not to take advantage of a third eligibility year in competitive cheer eligibility at the junior college level, meaning she never got to take the mat in Daytona as a Bulldog. After graduating from Navarro, Brooke was accepted to the University of Tennessee. She does not seem to be cheering there. However, Brooke did guest coach this past summer at Just Cheer, where she was an all-star member before her time at Navarro.

One of the reasons why she's not competing in cheer this year may be her acceptance into the 2021-2022 Disney College Program. The Cheer 2 star shared a proud post via her Brooke Instagram on August 24, 2021. It showed her in front of the Disney University building, where cast members are trained, along with the caption, "Look dad, i did it. I’m officially a disney cast member and I couldn’t be happier!!! So excited for this next chapter in my life, 7 yr old me would be screaming right now!!!" Her page also features several pictures of her enjoying Disney amusement parks with her longtime boyfriend, Nick Dalton.

Gina remains back in Nashville, where she is the biggest cheerleader for both of her daughters. She's the proudest mom, and that's crystal clear based on Gina's Facebook page, where she is quick to correct any source that prints misinformation about either of her children. Her feed is filled with posts promoting Cheer and updating friends and family on Brooke and Nikki. On December 16, she posted a picture of the three in Walt Disney World's movie-themed Hollywood Studios park, along with a caption thanking followers for their birthday wishes. She wrote, "Spent the day the very best way...." Gina added, "celebrating my birthday and our Christmas in Walt Disney World with my girls is everything!"

Given where they are now, it is unlikely that fans will be seeing Brooke or her mom in any upcoming seasons of Cheer. It seems like they've started a new chapter of their story. Viewers missed seeing the pair in the final episodes of season 2 and will certainly miss them in any future installments. However, they definitely wish them the best.
