Pranks and sabotage are at the heart of 2003's Cheaper By The Dozen and its sequel, whether the twelve Baker kids are turning on one another or facing a common enemy. Despite their differences, the family is always brought together one way or another.

However, since the smallest of disagreements can turn into outright brawls, it would be interesting to discover whether their bonds could withstand the high stakes and inevitable chaos that would ensue if they were to find themselves competing in The Hunger Games.

Lorraine

While Lorraine can hold her own in family disputes, it's no secret that she and the great outdoors are not on the best terms. Given that half of the challenge is to survive against the elements, not just the opponents, Lorraine would be unlikely to last for too long.

As demonstrated at Lake Winnetka in Cheaper By The Dozen 2, the uncleanly wilderness would prove too much for Lorraine within the first hour. If she didn't manage to talk her way out of competing altogether, since she might feel right at home in the fashionable Capitol, she would quickly attract attention from the others by complaining about the conditions.

Kim

Kim's impressive bank of knowledge serves her well in Cheaper By The Dozen and would be an asset in The Hunger Games, too. However, her brain could only save her for so long before she would undoubtedly be overpowered by one of her siblings.

Although Kim has been involved in her fair share of fights, she has also been bested by the likes of a dart to the head and the stress of an egg tossing competition. The high stakes of the games and the inevitability of facing her siblings with their weapons would quickly put Kim out of the running.

Jessica

Like her twin sister, Jessica's main strength is her intelligence. Although she has been incapacitated by small inconveniences, like a bucket stuck on her head, she has been able to fight back against her tormentors, which gives her an edge over Kim.

However, this does appear to be the extent of her athletic ability. Though her intellect would be advantageous, she would be easily taken out by one of the stronger Bakers once she has been worn out.

Henry

Besides casting a scathing remark when the moment calls for it, Henry has not been found in as many scrapes as the other Bakers. While he has a physical advantage over the younger kids, his generally passive nature and weak stomach do not afford him great odds in the arena.

Compared to athletes Mike and Charlie, Henry has cultivated artistic strengths, such as playing the clarinet, and this would be of no advantage. His admiration for Charlie, in particular, would be his greatest downfall as, if it came down to Henry and Charlie as the last Bakers standing, Henry would sacrifice himself for his idolized older brother.

Kyle

Though he may be the youngest Baker, he is certainly not helpless. Kyle is a natural creator of chaos, and, while he may not be the most intelligent, his lack of regard for consequences would make him an unexpected threat.

Being the youngest sibling would work to Kyle's advantage and inspire pity from the others, rendering him less of a target. If this was not enough, he can hide easily with his small stature is no stranger to fights. While he would be a ruthless enemy in that the concept of killing likely means very little to him, one of the older, stronger Bakers could defeat him easily once they see past his innocent eyes.

Mike

While every Baker competed in the Labor Day Family Cup, Mike is one of the few athletes of the family. With a range of physical skills under his belt, he should not be underestimated as a contender.

As demonstrated when initiating a fight with the bullies at their new school, Mike can hold his own against bigger kids. However, he has often been used by the others for their gain, such as by dangling him down the laundry chute to eavesdrop, so it is likely that he would end up as an expendable pawn for a more powerful sibling, and then be disposed of.

Nigel

As Kyle's identical twin, Nigel's set of skills is largely the same - he is always ready for a brawl, small enough to hide well, and unconcerned with repercussions. Nevertheless, Nigel has one advantage over Kyle: his aim.

In Cheaper By The Dozen, Nigel is responsible for hitting Kim directly on the forehead with a dart. This impeccable aim suggests Katniss Everdeen-like strengths and success with a bow and arrow. Even with his weapon of choice, though, Nigel's lack of intelligence would soon be his downfall, if he was not already defeated by a stronger sibling.

Jake

Across the movies, Jake is generally less confrontational than the others. He is more concerned with skating than family squabbles and makes no outright enemies of his siblings, compared to frequent fighters Sarah and Lorraine. His levelheaded, laidback nature is an asset unavailable to almost every other Baker.

Physically, Jake would have a solid chance of survival, along with a presumed average level of intelligence. Though capable of making it on his own, he would be likely to form alliances, which would be beneficial until victory hinged on killing the last Baker standing. With his agreeable disposition, the odds of him betraying his own blood Hunger Games-style for victory are slim.

Nora

Eldest Baker Nora has pledged her loyalty to others and forsaken the family in the past, which suggests that she might find it easy enough to cut ties and go at it alone in The Hunger Games. Were she to fly solo, her age and independence would give her the upper hand against many of her fellow Bakers.

Nevertheless, it is possible that she could lose out on victory by sympathizing with a sibling in need of help, as seen in Cheaper By The Dozen when she abandons her selfish boyfriend for the sake of runaway Mark.

Mark

Though unthreatening in appearance, Mark's unique set of skills would give him an edge over many of the Bakers. Besides being considered the black sheep of the family, he is best remembered for his knowledge of wildlife and admirable ability to go unnoticed, whether intentional or not.

In an outdoor arena, Mark would survive well on his own by living off the land, camouflaging himself, and tracking animals. If he could evade the others for long enough, he would stand a substantial chance of winning. However, Mark has a history as the family punching bag and would be swiftly singled out as a target, were the others to find him.

Charlie

More than just a hotheaded teenager, Charlie is the Baker sibling with the most athletic prowess. Combining his short fuse and his abilities as a quarterback, he is sure to be a deadly force in the arena and could easily destroy his competition through sheer might.

Even with his enormous physical advantage, Charlie's emotional state could hold him back. Despite often wanting nothing to do with his family, he is a protective older brother and always plays for Team Baker when push comes to shove. His big heart would likely stand in the way of his victory.

Sarah

Upon entering The Hunger Games, every other Baker would cherish their last moments. As declared by her own father, Sarah has a "dark gift"; once in the arena, she would reveal just why she was banned from lacrosse for "excessive force".

Despite displaying a softer side in Cheaper By The Dozen 2, not even dreamy Eliot Murtaugh could derail Sarah's plans to create chaos. With only her siblings in the way of her survival, The Hunger Games would be the perfect platform for her most inventive and devastating ambushes, for which the others would be no match, thus leaving Sarah Baker the victor.
