Here's how and where to watch the upcoming horror TV show, Chapelwaite. The series is an adaptation of Stephen King's short story, "Jerusalem's Lot" from his Night Shift collection (not to be confused with his full-length novel, 'Salem's Lot). While it takes considerable liberties with the original story, it captures the sense of dread and truly unsettling experiences that beset the fictional Maine town of Preacher's Corners in the 1850s.

Adrien Brody stars as Captain Charles Boone, a sailor who decides to settle down after the tragic death of his wife at sea in order to provide a more stable life for his three children. Fortune smiles upon them when he receives a letter from his deceased cousin bequeathing Charles the Boone family's ancestral estate, Chapelwaite. However, the Boone family has always been a little off, harboring a dark secret that slowly threatens to consume Charles, his kids, and his new nanny/potential love interest, Rebecca Morgan (Emily Hampshire).

While 'Salem's Lot, is arguably the better-known Stephen King work, "Jerusalem's Lot" still holds a special place in the hearts of his longtime Constant Readers. To that end, many are eagerly awaiting the series premiere, as well as wondering how and where to watch it. Chapelwaite premieres on Sunday, August 22 at 10pm ET/PT and will air on Epix in the United States and on CTV Sci-Fi Channel in Canada. As it is an Epix original series, all 10 episodes of Chapelwaite will air exclusively on the network.

There are a few ways to get Epix. One is to buy a subscription to the premium network through streaming platforms such as YouTube TV, Sling TV, AT&T TV NOW, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Roku, and other platforms. Unfortunately, neither Hulu nor Netflix will have the new TV show. Through August 22, Amazon Prime is offering a special deal for the Epix Video Channel of $0.99/month for the first three months and $5.99/month after that, so if one signs up this weekend, they can watch all of Chapelwaite for about three dollars–not a bad deal.

But there are those who are more cautious and may want to check out Chapelwaite's premiere before deciding whether or not to commit to signing up through the Amazon Prime offer. In that case, the Epix Now app is one's best bet. Currently, Epix is offering a free 7-day trial of the Epix Now app through its website–more than enough time to take Chapelwaite episode 1 out for a spin. After that, to keep watching the show, it will cost $5.99/month for the app. Whatever platform audiences use, Chapelwaite is sure to thrill Stephen King fans as a great TV series adaptation of "Jerusalem's Lot." With a perfect blend of gory deaths, terrifying vampires lurking in the shadows, and excellent character work by Academy Award winner Adrien Brody, hopefully, Epix has a hit on its hands.
