We're all familiar with the infamous heartthrob, Channing Tatum, who has been blessing the big screen with his charm and humor since the early 2000s. While he's usually known for his comedic films, Channing has also taken on incredible, dramatic films that pull at our heart strings. For this list, we've taken Channing Tatum's 10 best roles, ranked in order of the most comedic to the most serious. Don't worry, he still steals your heart in every single one.

Jenko, 21 Jump Street (2012)

This comedy classic is everything you need in a movie: Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Dave Franco, Ice Cube, Brie Larson, cringy action-goodness, slapstick humor, and a high school drug ring. Need we say more? If we do, you definitely want to tune in to watch Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum head back to high school as undercover cops, except they're not exactly the best cops... This hilarious treat is honestly a darn good comedy, and for a ridiculous film, a 7.2/10 on Imdb says a lot. That's all we need to say, too.

Tequila, Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017)

While Channing Tatum didn't appear in the first Kingsman film, he makes up for it with his cowboy get-up in the sequel. Seriously, his name is Tequila. Prepare for an incredibly funny, handsome, and redneck Channing Tatum as he kicks ass in the world of neat Kingsman gadgets.

These movies are actually incredibly underrated, and they're honestly clever as hell and are on a whole other level of entertainment.

Jimmy Logan, Logan Lucky (2017)

This movie follows two brothers, Channing Tatum and Adam Driver, as they attempt to pull off a huge heist during a NASCAR race. While this comedy crime drama didn't steal a lot of attention, we argue it's definitely worth your time. While we love Channing Tatum, Adam Driver is always an absolute treat to watch on the big screen. And as brothers, these two create a pretty entertaining film.

Duke, She's the Man (2006)

This is a classic that we'll never, ever forget, and it's even more incredible that it's the first time Channing really stole our hearts. If you haven't seen this iconic teen romance comedy, you need to stop whatever you're doing and get on it immediately.

Amanda Bynes plays Viola, who goes to an elite boarding school, disguised as her brother, in an attempt to become the school's star soccer player. In the way of her ambitions is the charming Channing Tatum (we don't blame her), and concealing her romantic interest, and gender, becomes all the more challenging. Seriously, watch it.

Duke, G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra (2009)

This classic Sci-Fi action adventure film has us all chomping on our popcorn while we're on the edge of our seats, but we're talking about Channing here. Playing a military member, this role definitely sums up everything we expect Channing to be great at - strength, courage, humor, and charm. This is definitely an action flick we've all loved, so tune in for some badass spec ops.

Tyler Gage, Step Up (2006)

Out of all the dance movies out there, we're pretty confident in saying that this one takes the cake. Not only did Channing Tatum meet his boo, Jenna Dewan on the set of this one (we're still not over their split, by the way), this film actually has an incredible layer of drama, class division, and struggle.

Tyler Gage lives in an impoverished neighborhood, and after him and his friends vandalize an elite performing arts school, he gets the chance to earn a scholarship and to dance in the upcoming show. This movie tackles some incredible themes, and at the very least, it has Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan dancing some pretty stellar moves.

Magic Mike, Magic Mike (2012)

You may be surprised to find this movie so far over to the "most serious" side, but if you've actually seen this film, it's actually nothing like it'd made out to be. Sure, there's some pretty dreamy strip scenes with the handsome Channing Tatum, Matthew McConaughey, and Alex Pettyfer, and yes, that's enough to watch this film, but this movie actually tackles some pretty serious themes about money, stripping, and life itself. Prepare to get swept off your feet and to get more than attached to the lives of these young men. You're in for quite the ride of both heartbreak and handsome men.

John Tyree, Dear John (2010)

While Channing has blessed our screens in the comedy and the action genre, he also took a stab at some romance dramas. And honestly? He kind of slayed at them. Alongside Amanda Seyfried, this film follows a solider who falls in love with the conservative college student while he's home on leave. This movie will have you feeling all the feels, and you'll find it pretty difficult not to fall in love with Channing, too.

Leo, The Vow (2012)

Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams star in Screen Gems' THE VOW.

If you've seen this romance drama and you didn't cry during it, you're either heartless or a total liar. A young, madly in love couple gets their marriage tested when Paige, the wife, is involved in a car accident and wakes up with severe memory loss. Leo works hard to win his wife's heart all over again, but struggles to show her who she was and who he is. Not only does this film star the brilliant Rachel McAdams alongside our main man Channing Tatum, but it will have you both laughing and crying your eyes out. Fair warning, but it's still absolutely brilliant.

Mark Schultz, Foxcatcher (2014)

A scene from Foxcatcher

This Oscar nominated film falls into the category of biography-sport drama, and follows U.S. Olympic wrestling champions, who are also brothers, as they train with an eccentric multi-millionaire John du Pont (Steve Carell) for the 1988 Olympic Games. However, their coach's destructive behavior becomes a struggle for them all in their dynamic, internal battles with all of their demons. The brothers are played by Mark Ruffalo and Channing Tatum, and honestly, this cast is brilliant. This movie tells an incredibly tragic and soulful tale, and you definitely don't want to miss Channing's best, most serious role.
