MTV's The Challenge has featured a slew of interesting television stars, and here's what Dustin Zito has been up to since competing on the show. During his time on reality TV, Dustin's chaotic life was documented, and fans witnessed all of his tumultuous ups and downs. Since The Challenge season 26, however, Dustin has stayed away from controversy and opted for a lower profile life.

Dustin was first introduced to reality television viewers on The Real World: Las Vegas in 2011. While on The Real World, Dustin shared the difficulties he faced in his childhood that led to his unpredictable adult behavior. Dustin explained that his mother was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and struggled with drug addiction. Additionally, Dustin's stepfather was abusive. On the show, Dustin often expressed concern about his mother's wellness, as well as his own. While on The Real World, Dustin embarked on a romantic relationship with Heather Marter. After The Real World, Dustin starred on The Challenge: Battle of the Exes in 2012. A year later, Dustin was featured on Couples Therapy season 3 with Heather. Outside of TV, Dustin had a complicated life. After filming his first season of The Challenge, Dustin got in trouble with the law. In 2013, Dustin was arrested for sexual battery. Dustin was at a bar in Lafayette, Louisiana when he allegedly reached under a woman's dress without her consent. According to Daily Mail's account of the incident, Dustin "was 'very intoxicated' and resisted arrest." According to the report, Dustin didn't calm down until police officers "doused him with pepper spray and struck him with their open hands." Dustin's interaction with the police got worse as he reportedly told officers that the woman should be "thankful" that he assaulted her because many women "wish for that to happen to them." The Real World alum was charged with sexual battery, resisting an officer with violence, remaining after being forbidden, and misdemeanor disturbing the peace by public intoxication.

On the photo-sharing social media platform, Dustin has acquired 11,500 followers but has only shared a modest 115 posts. Mostly, Dustin has been enjoying his life after his television star says. From going to football games to snowboarding to lounging on his boat, Dustin's been leading an adventurous life without cameras recording him. Dustin's Instagram also shares that he's in a long-term relationship with Tova Ioannucci, an aesthetic sales director at a medspa. The couple lives in New York City and their romance can be traced back to 2017.

From getting charged with sexual battery to starting a low-profile life with his new girlfriend, Dustin's break from reality television is for the best.
