CBS is gearing up to air a version of The Challenge on its network this summer called The Challenge: USA, and a new promo has been released teasing the unknown contestants who will be competing. Paramount previously announced the cost-effective marketing of the previously titled The Challenge: War of the Worlds, whose current working title is The Challenge: World ChampionshipThe Challenge: USA cast list is set to include only competitors from the Tiffany network's flagship reality shows Survivor, Big Brother, The Amazing Race and Love Island. The new crop of competitors are all rookies to the game as none have previously appeared on the MTV flagship series.

It was reported back in February that the new franchise format is set to produce four independent series that will all film at the same location in Argentina and air in their respective countries' local television markets, including Argentina, Australia and the United Kingdom, in June, and then The Challenge spin-off will stream the following day globally on Paramount+ to attract more subscribers to the U.S. streaming platform. The winners of each corresponding series will then compete on World Championship, which is reported to have 10 episodes and will begin airing sometime in August. The goal is to gauge the success of the new format strategy to source locally in hopes it can be replicated with other Paramount reality competition properties, such as Ink Master or Queen of the Universe, so the platform can grow globally as the streaming platform takes aim at competitors such as Netflix and Peacock.

Now that the 2022 Paramount Global Upfront announcements have commenced the promotional season, a teaser for The Challenge: USA has already made its way to air, which was captured by 18 Productions on YouTube. Longtime host TJ Lavin, affectionately known as "10-take TJ" by some cast members for his repeated behind-the-scenes attempts to get his lines right for the on-camera explanations to the rules of certain competitions, is seen talking directly to the camera inside a stadium as shots of faceless competitors compete in various challenges. The copy is relatively simple, saying, "The cast of Survivor, Big Brother, Love Island and The Amazing Race go head-to-head. Get ready for The Challenge: USA. Coming soon on CBS."

Reliable spoiler account PinkRose on the reality television centric forum Vevmo has already spoiled the full Challenge: USA cast list and proposed alternates and has even gone ahead to include a full elimination order and include the winners and presumed new USA representatives of The Challenge: World Championship. Warning: if fans visit the Vevmo source link, spoilers will absolutely be seen on elimination order and winner of the show. The blind item scoop on who should be worried about making it to the finals is anyone associated with this favorite summertime activity that was heavily featured in one of the prior CBS shows' recent seasons.

Any form of The Challenge from the past or what's to come of The Challenge: USA and World Championship in the future has always been more enjoyable to some fans through the lens of spoilers. When there is enough chaos and distraction in the world, cast elimination spoilers can be beneficial in making sense of storylines leading up to their departure from the game that might have gone unnoticed prior. This makes water cooler discussions during the following days about The Challenge a lot more illuminating because less time is spent trying to decipher every possible instance of foreshadowing in the edit and reconciling the emotional loss of who might go home. The show is still by and large entertaining because former reality TV show favorites are going to deliver unpredictable drama, and the producers are still putting on interesting daily competitions for the cast to compete.
