Fans are now two episodes deep into The Challenge: Spies, Lies & Allies, and the drama and competition are heating up considerably. A new player was introduced and there was another switch-up at elimination which has established new teams.

In episode 2, Josh’s partner Lauren had been deactivated, and last season’s winner Amber was brought in to take her place. Josh orchestrated an elimination against rookie Kelz, and managed to convince the rest of the house to vote for him and partner Tracy. As winners of the daily challenge, Fessy and Esther sent Ed and Emy into elimination, who ended up taking out Kelz and Tracy.

Amanda & Kyle

Amanda and Kyle The Challenge

This week, Amanda and Kyle kept a low profile and didn’t make any strong moves. They could be trying to coast along, which, at this point in the competition, isn’t a bad strategy.

Amber & Josh

Amber Borzotra Josh Martinez The Challenge

After Josh’s former partner Lauren left the show, last season’s winner Amber was brought in to replace her. The reigning champ made it clear that she came to win, and Fessy has expressed concern that Amber could come after him later in the game.

Aneesa & Logan

Aneesa and Logan The Challenge

After winning last episode’s daily challenge, Aneesa and rookie Logan Sampedro flew under the radar this week.

Ashley & Hughie

Ashley and Hughie The Challenge

This season, Ashley has been developing feelings for Cory, but after she saw him flirting with rookie Berna, she’s seeing red.

Big T & Tommy

Big T and Tommy

Big T and Tommy are another team who laid low this episode and managed to stay away from the drama and alliances building in the house.

Corey L. & Michele

Corey Lay Michele Fitzgerald The Challenge

After the elimination partner switch-up, Corey L. and Michele have once again found themselves paired up. Last episode, the two were called down separately into elimination and sent their opponents packing. Corey L. and Michele are rookies who could have a shot at winning since they’ve already proven they work well together.

Cory & Bettina

Cory and Bettina The Challenge

Cory is beginning to find himself in the middle of a love triangle between Ashley and Berna, and it could blow up in his face later on.

CT & Berna

CT and Berna

CT is anticipating blood in the water from the Cory-Ashley-Berna drama and is worried that Ashley will be gunning for his partner. After his dramatic dad-bod transformation, CT wants to win, and he could be looking to find a new partner soon.

Devin & Emy

Devin Walker Emy Alupei The Challenge

After winning elimination, Emy stole Devin away from Michele—the second time that Devin has been stolen. Devin is obviously pleased to be in such high demand, but Emy may have bitten off more than she can chew.

Fessy & Esther

Fessy and Esther The Challenge

Fessy and Esther won the daily challenge this episode and were tasked with sending two players into elimination. Fessy ultimately stuck with the veteran alliance and sent in two rookies.

Jeremiah & Tacha

Jeremiah and Tacha

This team was barely seen this episode, which is a smart move, as Jeremiah and Tacha are one of two all-rookie teams in the game and have a massive target on their backs.

Kaycee & Emanuel

Kaycee and Emanuel The Challenge

Kaycee and Emanuel nearly won the daily challenge and are a formidable team. If Kaycee’s relationship with castmate Nany doesn’t distract her, she and Emanuel have an excellent shot at winning.

Nany & Gabo

Nany and Gabo The Challenge

Nany and Gabo also played it cool this episode, not stirring up any drama and not making any major political moves.

Nelson & Priscilla

Nelson and Priscilla The Challenge

Many teams left the major plays up to castmates like Fessy and Josh, and Nelson and Priscilla were another team who laid low.

Tori & Ed

Ed Eason Tori Deal The Challenge

Although Ed and Emy worked together well in elimination, Ed decided to steal Tori—a wise move considering any all-rookie team is going to be targeted by the veterans in the house.

On this season of The Challenge: Spies, Lies & Allies, the lines have been drawn between veterans and rookies. If the rookies want to stand a chance, they’d better win some daily challenges. There are a few new teams to keep an eye on in episode 3, and the game could change at any time.
