Fans of The Challenge are ready to dive into episode 2. After just one elimination, there are still several teams left in play. With a robust mix of rookies and veterans, it’s still anyone’s game.

Season 37, entitled Spies, Lies & Allies, split the contestants into teams of two with one international and one American player. The teams also consisted of one man and one woman.

The initial teams were formed in episode 1, but due to the elimination twist, viewers now know that those teams are subject to change. These are the new teams heading into episode 2.

Amanda & Kyle

Amanda and Kyle The Challenge

As the only team with two vets, Amanda and Kyle have a distinct advantage in the competition and could go far in the game.

Aneesa & Logan

Aneesa and Logan The Challenge

Aneesa and Logan won the first daily challenge, which is a good place to start. Though Aneesa often goes far, how well she would perform in the season 37 final is questionable.

Ashley & Hughie

Ashley and Hughie The Challenge

Though Ashley is a good competitor, this team came in last in the first daily challenge and has a lot to prove.

Big T & Tommy

Big T and Tommy

Spies, Lies & Allies is Big T’s fifth season and Survivor alum Tommy’s first. So far, they haven’t made much of a splash yet.

Cory & Bettina

Cory and Bettina The Challenge

Cory is a strong competitor, but Bettina is coming off of Paradise Hotel Sweden. It is unclear if she’s willing to get her hands dirty.

CT & Berna

CT and Berna

CT recently transformed his dad bod into a more toned physique, and Berna comes from Survivor Turkey, which means they represent both the veteran and Survivor alliances and could be a formidable team.

Devin & Michele

Devin and Michele

After winning in elimination, Michele selected Devin to be her new partner. Devin plays a strong political game, but if it suits his interests, he’d happily stab his partner in the back. Michele would be wise to keep an eye on him.

Ed & Emy

Ed and Emy

Emy’s former teammate, Corey L., partnered up with Tori after his elimination win, so she was partnered with Ed by default. As an all-rookie team, Ed and Emy have a major target on their backs.

Fessy & Esther

Fessy and Esther The Challenge

Esther is a rookie and many fans don’t expect much from Fessy after his disastrous performance in the Double Agents final, so this team is a bit of a wild card.

Jeremiah & Tacha

Jeremiah and Tacha

As another all-rookie team, veterans will be gunning for Jeremiah and Tacha. However, in the teaser trailer, Jeremiah is seen hooking up with last season’s winner, Amber B. She could help his chances of winning.

Josh & Lauren

Josh and Lauren

Though Josh is a veteran, he doesn’t have the best track record,  and Lauren is a rookie from Love Island USA. It’s doubtful this team will make it to a final.

Kaycee & Emanuel

Kaycee and Emanuel The Challenge

Kaycee is a strong veteran who made it to the final last season, and Emanuel has ties to the Survivor alliance. Kaycee and Emanuel will probably be a team to watch.

Kelz & Tracy

Kelz and Tracy

Kelz and Tracy are another rookie team and are at serious risk of being targeted by the veterans in the house.

Nany & Gabo

Nany and Gabo The Challenge

Nany made it to the final last season but it’s already starting to seem like she and Gabo don’t have great communication. Also, Nany’s relationship with Kaycee could serve as a distraction for her this season.

Nelson & Priscilla

Nelson and Priscilla The Challenge

Nelson and Priscilla are another veteran-rookie team and show a lot of promise due to their strong drive to win.

Tori & Corey L.

Tori and Cory L

Corey L. was originally partnered with Emy, but after he got called into elimination and won, Corey L. wisely chose veteran Tori to be his new partner.

In the early episodes of The Challenge season 37, there are still many teams to keep track of, and many of them already show promise. As old teams break up and new ones form, major upsets are surely in store for viewers.
