Fans of The Challenge have missed seeing powerhouse Kailah Casillas compete on the show and they have been wondering what she’s been up to since Total Madness. Kailah Casillas was first introduced to the MTV world in Real World: Go Big or Go Home. Since then, she was a mainstay of The Challenge for several seasons, making it to the finals in Vendetta. Her stint on Total Madness was her last time competing on The Challenge, where she made it halfway through the season but lost to fellow competitor Kaycee Clark during an elimination.
During her time on Total Madness, Kailah was in a relationship with DJ Mikey Pericosolo. However, it didn’t deter fellow The Challenge star Stephen Bear, who had his eyes set on Kailah. It was the talk of the house when Kailah finally gave in to the Challenge villain's charms and hooked up with Stephen. The news of her cheating leaked during filming and got back to Mikey. The two eventually broke up, but Kailah later shared that she was relieved to have it happen the way it did.
Kailah found love with Love Island star Sam Bird. They first started dating when she slid into his DMs and invited the DJ to visit her in Las Vegas, where she was living at the time. Sam proposed to Kailah in August 2020 after officially dating since January. Soon afterward, Kailah made the big move to London, where Sam is from, and the couple bought a house together. Challenge star Kailah announced the happy news that she and Sam eloped in March, after scrapping their stressful wedding plans. Kailah and Sam spend their time together renovating homes through their shared venture, Casa Bird.
Since Total Madness, Kailah has been noticeably absent from The Challenge and viewers wondered when she would return. Kailah told fans that she’s officially retired from The Challenge and that she had “outgrown it.” She claimed she couldn’t commit to filming for such a long time but hinted that she may pop up elsewhere. However, viewers were happy to hear that Kailah was officially cast in The Challenge: All Stars season 3, where she will compete against old-school fan favorites such as Darrell Taylor and Veronica Portillo.
Kailah also keeps busy by being an influencer on Instagram. She recently promoted a fertility test kit that had fans speculating if she and Sam are ready to start a family. Many of The Challenge stars are settling down and becoming parents such as Kam Williams and Leroy Garrett, along with Kyle Christie. For now, it seems Kailah is content with her life in London and fans can’t wait to see how far she’ll make it on All Stars.
