Fans of The Challenge fans are heartbroken to learn that the show's favorite couple has decided to end their engagement. Jordan Wiseley and Tori Deal got engaged on the show last year. However, the two MTV stars took to Instagram on Monday to reveal their breakup.

Jordan and Tori were one of the more standout couples on the popular reality competition show. Though many couples were spawned as a result of The Challenge, Jordan and Tori were the only ones to pop the question on the air. Both were reality show veterans, with Jordan appearing on The Real World: Portland back in 2013 and Tori being cast in Are You The One?, where cast members searched for their perfect match. The couple met while filming for MTV years before they got engaged. They were known for being fierce competitors, but not letting the competition affect their romance. The couple previously shared their plans to get married privately and outside of the camera's view.

However, all those fairytale wedding plans came to an end on Monday when both stars took to Instagram to reveal their split. "I thought I knew love when Jordan and I were together, but there is a different kind of love that two people feel when they decide it’s time to experience life apart," Tori captioned a photo of her hugging her now-ex-fiancé. "Even though Jordan and I are going to be moving forward in separate ways, our love, support, and connection with one another only grows stronger and deeper."

Jordan posted a photo slide on his page recapping some of the couple's adorable moments prior to calling it quits. "It’s been one of the toughest stretches of my life to silently struggle with our happiness and love," he captioned his post. The reality star went on to lightly touch on what led to their breakup. "Unfortunately, we weren’t able to escape the pressures that come with being in a very public relationship and despite any rumors that have been started, our separation is not because of any bs 'scandal,'"he told his fans. "We are just two people who love each other deeply but are both battling with our own struggles and happiness," he added. It was last September when Jordan revealed their plans to get married on the East Coast, where he's from. They had intentions of the ceremony being private for their family and loved ones.

There was a lot of love visible in the couples' messages. Many fans are hopeful they will get back together. Despite Jordan often being at the center of the drama on the show, viewers enjoyed watching his love story with Tori.
