A magnificent fan art illustration on Twitter by artist @null_u, puts Chainsaw Man waifu, Makima in an elegant light. By replacing her casual black and white work attire with a breathtaking white dress, Makima is beautiful while standing on a grand staircase. The mysterious Devil Hunter is wearing her signature side braid with her bright red hair standing out against the blue landscape sky. The astonishing watercolors truly set the mood for this captivating piece, while portraying Makima's cunning nature in her relationship with Denji. Behind her faint smile, the Devil Hunter hides plans far more devious than what she puts on.

Makima is a higher-ranking officer within the Public Safety Devil Hunter organization, making the fan art a realistic representation of her high stature. As the head of the Tokyo Special Division 4, Makima possesses immense power through her contracts with Devils. Her fascination with Denji comes from his Chainsaw Man devil powers which upon devouring can erase the existence of any devil. While holding the key to her ulterior motives, Makima takes control over Denji through unruly manipulation tactics and grooming behavior in conjunction with her beauty.

Unlike other Shonen heroes, Denji's dreams are to obtain a girlfriend. Unfortunately because of his sad upbringing in having to work off his father's debt, Denji's dating life was close to being nonexistent, until meeting Makima. As the first woman he's ever come in contact with, Denji becomes so enthralled in achieving his dream that he ends up joining the Devil Hunter organization. The psychological manipulation of Makima is frequently linked to her promise of sleeping with Denji but later leads to a horrible coping mechanism at the end of the manga. This is why the sly fox demeanor of Makima is beautifully portrayed in this cultivating Chainsaw Man fan art by Null.
