In the bloody and brutal anime and manga world of Chainsaw Man, franchise protagonist Denji can transform at will into a savage berserker of untamable strength and skill, with this new piece of fanart showing off his epic Devil transformation in a graphic and unique new way!

Recently shared on social media via Instagram, Shayan Raj (@shayanraj15v) is a creative talent that’s all about uploading character work that shows off their skills as an up-and-coming concept artist and avid student of the medium. Sketching characters from not only the Chainsaw Man franchise but The Witcher, Star Wars, Squid Game, and more, Shayan also finds the time to post original artwork while honing their creative abilities with each new piece of fanart.

The titular Devil Hunter of Chainsaw Man, Denji is all about perfecting his hybrid skills to impress his colleagues in the mysterious Makima, steadfast Aki, and psychotic Fiend known simply as Power, all in an attempt to grab some NSFW body parts that he’s a little too obsessed with. Capable of transforming into a being that uses chainsaws in his arms and head to beat down foes with abandon, Denji needs only to pull the rip cord in his chest — a special ability made possible by his late devil dog pet, Pochita — and within seconds, is running, jumping, slicing, and dicing with the best around.

Chainsaw Man's Denji Gets A Bloody Good Graphic Design

A design that looks like it could be printed on any number of Chainsaw Man promotional materials ranging from t-shirts to manga covers to home video releases, Shayan immediately impresses with a professional art style that looks indistinguishable from Denji’s design used in the show. Colored in muted hues yet complimented by splashes of purple blood, yellow outlines, and grey shadows, Shayan depicts Denji in full Chainsaw Man mode as he stands over a pair of severed tentacles with a triumphant — and slightly crazy — look in his wide open Devil Hybrid eyes. Illustrating Denji against an empty white background with a few stylish accents drawn around him for texture, Shayan deciding to detail Denji rather than the rest of the piece turns this fanart into a fun new look for a hero that’s consistently at the top of his Devil Hunter game.

So while Denji has only just started his bloody journey in the anime, manga fans know full well where his next few adventures will take him, and it’ll be up to Shayan to create another awesome piece of art to share with a fanbase that’s growing exponentially by the day. Chainsaw Man’s Denji already has an iconic design, but with Shayan Raj (@shayanraj15v) at the helm, he gets another that’s as subversively unique as it is visually appealing.
