It was a big year for celebrity engagements in 2017, so bring on the wedding bells in 2018!

There is a cache of stars planning their walk down the aisle and we're all in wedding mode, anticipating the lavish parties, the star-studded guest lists, and gorgeous wedding dresses. From a royal wedding to a New Year's Eve celebration to a small destination wedding, these celebrities are going to handle their big day their way – and we'll be waiting for all the Insta-pics and formal photos. Some are also expecting their first children, so we get an added bonus to the whole proceeding.

In this list, we've also included some of Hollywood A-listers who have already tied the knot in the first two and half months of 2018. One couple managed to pull off a beautiful ceremony, complete with a stunning designer dress, just four months after getting engaged.

There were also few celebrities who we didn't even know were engaged and suddenly they are showing off pics from their surprise wedding or from the City Hall where they just exchange vows. It's a special talent to be able to pull off a surprise when you're in the spotlight so much of the time.

Here are 9 Stars You Didn't Know Were Getting Married in 2018 (And 7 Who Are Already Hitched).

MANDY MOORE AND TAYLOR GOLDSMITH

Mandy Moore and her beau, Dawes musician Taylor Goldsmith, got engaged last September after two years of dating.

The two actually met through Instagram. The This Is Us actress told E!, "I didn't know the rules of social media. I didn't tag him, you know, as you do in a photograph now. I didn't do any of those things and lo and behold, like, he happened to find what I said about him and his band and that's what led us to meeting one other."

While Moore explained she was in no giant rush, she definitely wants to get married “sooner rather than later.” She said, "I don't need to wait, I don't need to have a long engagement. I'm not planning some giant, lavish affair. So, I might as well just do it."

BRIE LARSON AND ALEX GREENWALD

Brie Larson and her musician boyfriend of four years, Alex Greenwald, are reportedly busy planning their wedding after getting engaged in Tokyo in 2016.

According to OK!, a source said the nuptials will likely take place in June in northern California. “They want to do a bonafide hippie/rock and roll wedding, with their friends and Alex’s bandmates serving as the wedding band and one of Brie’s acting buddies – Jacob Tremblay or Samuel L. Jackson – officiating the actual ceremony,” said the insider.

Larson and Greenwald also want to keep it low-key. “They’re not looking to do something too lavish and they’ve already turned down a bunch of other freebies so they can focus on a cheap, basic ceremony that isn’t a Kardashian car wreck of a spectacle,” explained the source.

The actress is also currently filming her big Marvel superhero movie Captain Marvel.

JOHN STAMOS & CAITLIN MCHUGH (HITCHED!)

John Stamos married actress and model Caitlin McHugh on February 3, in a romantic service at the Little Brown Church in Los Angeles, followed by a celebration at the actor's home.

The Fuller House actor proposed to McHugh at Disneyland, one of his most favorite places ever, at the end of last year. He put together a video of Disney and Pixar movies and ended it with Sebastian singing “Just Kiss the Girl” from The Little Mermaid, but had the crab saying, “Just ask the girl.

Stamos is apparently such a Disney superfan that he has the “D” from the original Disney sign in his backyard, which the guests at the reception were able to walk around.

Along with getting married, the two also announced they are expecting their first child.

ROSE LESLIE AND KIT HARRINGTON

Unlike his Game of Thrones character Jon Snow, at least Kit Harington knows a little something about his fianceé, Rose Leslie, who played Jon Snow's doomed only love, Wildling Ygritte.

The two have been dating since 2012, and Harington admitted on The Jonathan Ross Show last October that he popped the question a little too rushed. He wanted to plan a big romantic setting, but it didn't turn out that way.

Now, the actor said wedding plans are in full swing, but he had to ask the GoT producers to alter the filming schedule for the final season so he could plan around the wedding. Harington explained, “I rang him up and I said, ‘I’m getting married and it’s your fault actually... You need to factor in a Game of Thrones wedding...’ They [the cast] have all got to be there so the whole thing has got to shut down."

MILES TELLER AND KELEIGH SPERRY

Miles Teller and his longtime girlfriend, model Keleigh Sperry, got engaged last August, and while they haven't set a firm date yet, they do know they want it to be a small destination wedding.

Teller popped the question when they two, who have been dating since 2013, were on a safari in South Africa, and now he definitely wants to be part of the wedding planning process. “I have a hard time not being involved just with anything,” Teller said to Us Weekly. “To me it’s a celebration – it’s a celebration of our love and expressing who we are to all our friends and family so hopefully. I don’t just get pushed to the wayside!”

The actor also said traveling somewhere for the wedding would be fun. “Smaller than some, bigger than others! It won’t be in our backyard so we’ll travel somewhere. But we’re figuring it out.”

AMY SCHUMER AND CHRIS FISCHER (HITCHED!)

Funnylady Amy Schumer also pulled a fast one by getting married to her boyfriend Chris Fischer in a surprise wedding in Malibu on February 13. She let fans know she tied the knot by posting a bunch of great photos on Instagram.

Schumer apparently sent texts to friends to let them know she and Fischer, a chef, were tying the knot after dating for three months. “Most of the guests found out the wedding was happening from a text Amy sent,” a source told Us Weekly. “It was, ‘Hey, this is happening. If you can make it, great. If not, no worries.’”

The ceremony and reception were reportedly super “chill” and “laid-back,” with some of Schumer's more famous friends like Jennifer Lawrence and Judd Apatow in attendance.

EMILY RATAJKOWSKI AND SEBASTIAN BEAR-MCCLARD (HITCHED!)

Model/actress Emily Ratajkowski surprised everyone when she announced she married producer Sebastian Bear-McClard in a civil ceremony in New York on February 23.

The two kept it casual as they wed at the New York City Hall. Ratajkowski looked pretty amazing wearing a wide-brim black hat with a mini-mesh veil and a Zara mustard pantsuit. She shared the happy news on her Instagram account. She also posted a few naked pics, showing off her gorgeous ring.

The Gone Girl actress had known Bear-McClard for several years before things turned romantic at the beginning of the year. They had been in the same friend group, reports UsWeekly, and they were first spotted together kissing on Valentine's Day.

Ratajkowski recently broke it off with her boyfriend of three years, music producer Jeff Magid.

KALEY CUOCO AND KARL COOK

After two years of dating, equestrian Karl Cook proposed to Kaley Cuoco in the sweetest way last November, giving her a gorgeous engagement ring and posting a video of the Big Bang Theory actress balling her eyes out, as she said yes.

Now, Cuoco is in full wedding planning mode, reports Life & Style, with a tentative date of December 31. True, that is the same date she married her first husband, Ryan Sweeting, in 2013, which ended in divorce after 21 months, but according to a source, it's a time of year Cuoco really loves.

“Kaley just loves the idea of a New Year’s Eve wedding,” the insider said. “She feels it’s the perfect time to start fresh.” The source added, “Kaley has already picked out her white dress. They want a very traditional wedding, and the details are falling into place.”

RICKY MARTIN AND JWAN YOSEF (HITCHED!)

Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef tied the knot at the beginning of the year. Martin told E! News in January, “I’m a husband...We exchanged vows, and we’ve swear [sic] everything, and we’ve signed all the papers that we needed to sign, prenups and everything.”

The two started dating in 2016 and were engaged that same year. At the time, Martin explained to Ellen DeGeneres on her show how it went down. “He’s a conceptual artist and I’m a collector, so I started looking for art and I saw his art and I went crazy because I really love what he does. Really original. And then I contacted him. I had no idea what he looked like and then I saw what he looked like and I’m like, Yeah. And we just got engaged.”

The Grammy winner is a father to 9-year-old twins Matteo and Valentino.

KIRSTEN DUNST AND JESSE PLEMONS

Ed and Peggy Blumquist smile toward the camera in Fargo

Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons, who met playing a married couple in the second season of Fargo, got engaged in January 2017 and are reportedly “having a really good time” planning their wedding.

Last June Dunst told Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest on Live with Kelly & Ryan that she's using Pinterest as a way to brainstorm ideas about the nuptials. “I like doing all of that pinning things. It’s really fun, and because we create it together from the beginning, it’s a really nice thing to do together. It’s going to be so personal and fun.”

The actress also said she's got the wedding dress in mind. “Laura and Kate Mulleavy — who do the clothing line Rodarte — who are the directors of the film [Woodstock] that I’m promoting, they’re making my wedding dress.”

The couple is also expecting their first child.

ELLEN PAGE AND EMMA PORTNER (HITCHED!)

Ellen Page and dancer/choreographer Emma Portner secretly tied the knot at the beginning of the year. “Can’t believe I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife,” the actress wrote on Instagram. The two shared similar posts showing their hands, wearing wedding bands.

The couple first made a public splash together last September, when Page brought Portner as a date to the premiere of her film Flatliners.

Portner's Instagram is filled with videos of her interpretive dance. She's a teacher at the Broadway Dance Center in New York, and her work has been featured in Justin Bieber’s music video “Life Is Worth Living” and on his Purpose World Tour. It was through the social media platform that Page reportedly reached out to Portner after watching one of her videos.

KEVIN MCKIDD AND ARIELLE GOLDRATH (HITCHED!)

Kevin McKidd and girlfriend Arielle Goldrath, a private chef, were married on March 2, according to the announcement the actor made on his website.

“Arielle and I are so happy to announce our marriage and new baby, who is soon to join our growing family," the Grey's Anatomy star wrote alongside a photo from his wedding. "My kids are happy for us too and are looking forward to the arrival of their newest sibling!"

He added, "Close friends and family came together with my Grey’s family to share in our  celebration day -- an intimate, low key gathering culminating in a Scottish Ceilidh dance. There’s much to be grateful for and we’re thrilled for the adventures 2018 will bring us all!”

McKidd recently finalized his divorce from Jane Parker, whom he was married to for 17 years. They have two children, 17-year-old son Joseph, and 15-year-old daughter Iona.

GWYNETH PALTROW AND BRAD FALCHUK

Gwyneth Paltrow and TV writer Brad Falchuk, who is Ryan Murphy's co-writing partner, got engaged a month ago, and the actress/lifestyle maven is reportedly excited about planning their upcoming wedding.

“I’ve never had a wedding before,” Paltrow told People. “So even though I’m 45, I sort of feel like a 21-year-old.” Paltrow and ex-husband Chris Martin eloped in 2003.

The formal planning hasn't begun in earnest yet, but Paltrow said she's having fun brainstorming with her best friends. “It’s kind of fun to talk about with my girlfriends. They send me pictures of dresses — they’re as excited about it as I am. It’s pretty cute.”

The couple announced their engagement on the cover of Paltrow’s Goop magazine after dating for over three years.

CHANEL IMAN AND STERLING SHEPARD (HITCHED!)

Victoria's Secret model Chanel Iman married her man, NY Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard, in a beautiful ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel on March 4, just four months after their engagement.

In order to get the right dress on such short notice, Iman recruited celebrity stylist Anita Patrickson, who, according to Brides.com, helped Iman select a Zuhair Murad wedding gown with a cape. “I never really envisioned wearing something like that for my wedding,” Iman told Brides. “But the moment we put it on, we all loved it!”

The couple first met at former New York Giants star Victor Cruz‘s birthday party in November 2016 and began dating shortly after. A day after her 27th birthday last December, Shepard popped the question surrounded by candles in a beautiful waterfront setting, and the two documented the event on Instagram.

KATIE CASSIDY AND MATTHEW RODGERS

Actress Katie Cassidy and her handsome beau Matthew Rodgers got engaged last June, posting the sweetest Instagram pic of them kissing, while sporting her oval-shaped diamond engagement ring.

“I can’t wait to spend forever with you my darling!! I’m the luckiest girl in the whole world,” the Arrow star captioned the pic. The couple was on vacation on the East African island of Mauritius, and the actress posted all kinds of great pics of the two of them enjoying their time together.

The couple now has a wedding website, which sets their date for December 28. Cassidy also attended a bridal fashion show last October, to check out designs from Pronovias – some exquisite lacy dresses were on display.

The daughter of the late David Cassidy was also once linked with producer Dana Brunetti.

PRINCE HARRY AND MEGAN MARKLE

Unless you've been living under a rock somewhere, you probably already know there's a royal wedding on the way.

Prince Harry proposed to his girlfriend, Suits actress Megan Markle, at the end of last year, and royal enthusiasts lost their collective minds when it was announced. Not only is there going to be all the great pomp and circumstance and royals, but also it's Harry! The prince of bad boys is finally settling down.

The date is set for Saturday, May 19, and the couple is tying the knot at the St. George Chapel at Windsor Castle, opting not to marry in the other usual royal spot, Westminster Abby. Markle has reportedly picked a designer for her wedding dress but hasn't released the name (bets are on Alexander McQueen).

Immediately following the exchange of vows, Prince Harry and his new bride will take a carriage ride through Windsor.
