According to The Sun, Bravo producers fired Teddi from RHOBH because "the network [was] not impressed with her performance on the show." The source also noted that executives had "considered cutting her last season but gave her one last chance." In response, Teddi, who was friends with Crystal Kung Minkoff, revealed in her podcast Two Ts In A Pod, alongside The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge, that she was completely blindsided by her RHOBH firing. She talked about receiving a flood of messages from friends and subsequently texting her manager. "So your contract is not getting renewed as a Housewife," she was told on the phone.
RHOBH's Teddi Has Moved On To Other Projects
This decision felt like a no-brainer decision for Bravo producers, who didn't see more potential for Teddi on RHOBH. However, she clearly did not see this coming and didn't expect she'd be warned about it by friends outside her Hollywood bubble. Since then, Teddi has focused on podcasting, expanding her social media presence, and running her health and lifestyle program All In by Teddi. In September 2020, The Cut even criticized Teddi's dietary plan for being unreasonably intense.
Teddi is also focusing on her health as she announced in October 2022 that she was diagnosed with stage 2 melanoma. Teddi had undergone skin cancer treatment and is using her Instagram to keep her followers updated on her progress while spreading awareness about the condition. The former RHOBH star has been through a lot these past couple of years, but nothing is keeping her down.
Although Teddi performed well at the start of Celebrity Big Brother 3, she was quickly targeted as a potential competitive threat. Ultimately, she was the first to be eliminated and placed eleventh. At least Teddi lasted longer on RHOBH than she did on Celebrity Big Brother.
