Fans were alarmed when Matthew shared a video rant blasting Shanna for allegedly cheating on him throughout their entire relationship, and still having feelings for her ex-husband, Travis Barker. The bizarre clip came a few weeks after Matthew deleted all of their photos together and unfollowed her. He took these steps after her flirty conversation with Lamar Odom during filming. Insiders said that Shanna and Lamar's seemingly flirtatious behavior rubbed Matthew the wrong way and left him reconsidering proposing to her. After she was eliminated, Shanna unfollowed Matthew before they ended up reconciling. However, things went awry on Wednesday, and Matthew was arrested.
Sources are revealing how things "escalated" between Shanna and Matthew while they were celebrating the Celebrity Big Brother finale. “She left their home to give him space and came back in the morning, which is when they got into another fight," a source told Us Weekly. While Celebrity Big Brother's Shanna and Matthew have gotten into fights in the past, "This one just got out of control,” the insider said. They added, “They definitely have a toxic relationship and go through this toxic cycle of breaking up and getting back together. Friends think she deserves better.” Shanna's youngest daughter Alabama Barker has spoken since the incident, letting fans know that her mom is okay. Alabama also took a jab at Matthew, saying "that man needs help." In the past, Alabama and Landon Barker have shared that they don't like their mom dating Matthew.
Many people were worried about Shanna after Matthew added his since-deleted video rant, where he broke up with the former beauty queen and accused her of seeing other people. “I’m done. For now, sources say that Celebrity Big Brother's Shanna is surrounded by family and friends and maintaining her health and safety away from Matthew. It seems unlikely that Shanna will take Matthew back. However, considering his last video, he might have already moved on from the Celebrity Big Brother star. The pair have been on and off for some time, and it's possible that Shanna and Matthew will finally go their separate ways for good.
