Longtime host Julie Chen has taken to social media to share a few clues for the famous houseguests who will be featured in the Celebrity Big Brother 3 cast, so it's time to break down these hints and find out who might be on the show. Since the huge success of Big Brother 23, viewers have been looking forward to CBS kicking off 2022 with the long-awaited CBB3. Rumored cast lists have been released recently, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
While waiting for Big Brother 24 to premiere in the summer of 2022, this new Celebrity edition will help the fans get their fix of strategic gameplay for the time being. Celebrity Big Brother season 3 is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, February 2 on CBS, so houseguests are only one week away from starting this game. There have only been two seasons of CBB so far, but expectations are high for season 3. If the upcoming season follows the same format as season 2, Celebrity Big Brother 3 should feature 12 contestants.
As seen in the video below tweeted out by CBS, Julie Chen has shared a few clues related to the Celebrity Big Brother season 3 cast members. Julie's first clue mentions a former basketball player with ties to a reality TV family. This could be Kardashian exes Lamar Odom, Kris Humphries, or Tristan Thompson, but this is very likely Lamar. The second guess hints at someone who was in a famous musical group in the 1990s. This could be any musician from *NSYNC, the Backstreet Boys, or the Spice Girls, but chances are that this is *NSYNC band member Lance Bass. The third clue is straightforward: a cast member from the Real Housewives franchise. This could quite literally be anyone, but rumor has it that CBB3 will feature RHOBH star Teddi Mellencamp.
Julie's fourth clue is about someone who's been "staying alive by cracking jokes specifically on Saturday nights." This appears to be Saturday Night Live star Tracy Morgan who almost died in a 2014 car accident and released a standup special called Staying Alive in 2017. The fifth clue hints at an Olympic bronze medalist. Considering his Olympic track record and reality TV stints, this could be figure skater Adam Rippon. The sixth clue references an idol who sings and dances online. This could very likely be Todrick Hall. Julie's seventh clue is about the daughter of a rockstar - chances are that this is either Ozzy Osbourne's daughter Kelly Osbourne or Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly Stewart. The eighth clue is about a pageant queen, model, and actress with ties to the rock genre, so guesses are that this is Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker's ex Shanna Moakler.
The ninth clue is rather vague, with Julie hinting at an actor with sitcom experience. Alas, it is likely that she's talking about Jerry Trainor or Alfonso Ribeiro. The tenth clue talks about an athlete currently in the top 15 for the UFC Women's Bantamweight Rankings. The full top 15 list can be found here, but chances are that Julie is referring to Miesha Tate. The final clue for the Celebrity Big Brother 3 cast is the vaguest hint of all: "Our final houseguest has an eye for fashion and will most definitely be bringing the style to the Big Brother house this season." For weeks, RuPaul's Drag Race star Shangela has been rumored to be on CBB3. However, this clue could be just about anyone perceived as fashionable in the public eye. For instance, Queer Eye fashion experts Carson Kressley or Tan France could be entering the Celebrity Big Brother 3 house soon.
