Based on a few conversations between Chris Kirkpatrick and other houseguests, the general understanding is that he had a false positive COVID-19 test result that prompted him to be removed from the BB house for a day. However, some fans on social media have also speculated that the *NSYNC singer perhaps chose to quit the show, regretted his decision, and then returned to the Big Brother house.
