And with season 13 just around the corner, the game has garnered loyal and devoted fans that have enjoyed the fun and chaos that it offers. Amongst them are a number of celebrities who have their own reputations and may surprise some that they share the same love for Apex as anyone else.

Sam Witwer

Some may recognize Sam Witwer in hit television shows like The Walking Dead and Smallville, but many would have heard him more than saw him. Witwer is well known for doing the voices for the Star Wars franchise in some of his best-ranked roles.

In 2019, ESPN set up a major gaming event called Apex Legends EXP Pro-Am. Among the many participants on the list, Witwer was among the celebrity gamers who participated in the competition.

Breanna Stewart

While many sports personalities have become fans of the game and its characters, Breanna Stewart is one of the few basketball players who also joined the ESPN gaming competition in 2019. After competing in games within her team, the Seattle Storm, she can be found on Apex's island.

While she may not have appeared in many video game events, she is no stranger to competing in major events and drawing in a crowd. She did not also compete alongside her teammates in the Tokyo Olympic Games, but she also played in the Woman's Basketball World Championship twice.

Troy Gentile

Set in the 1980s, The Goldbergs has been on the air since 2013 and continues to make audiences laugh to this day. Among the stars of the show is Troy Gentile, who plays Barry Norman Goldberg, the middle child of the family who tries to gain popularity in school.

Before finding fame on the show, eager-eyed fans might have caught a glimpse of the Goldbergs cast member somewhere else. Among them are Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny and Entourage, where his work in these comedies would eventually lead him to his career in The Goldbergs.

While a member of a boy band may surprise some, Connor Ball is no stranger to video games. Ball became the co-owner of LDN UTD earlier this year, investing his passion for gaming in the esports organization.

But while he may be known for his love for video games, he has also been part of the British pop band The Vamps for a decade. Known for their award-winning songs like "Last Night," the band has also performed with other musicians and groups like Little Mix and Taylor Swift.

Another sports personality on the list, Martellus Bennett is no stranger to competitions as he was an American Footballer for numerous teams throughout his career. Playing in major games like the Super Bowl, he competed in the Apex Legends EXP Pro-Am event in 2019 alongside other athletes.

And he had some stiff competition too for this event as he was joined by other American football players too. This included the likes of Orlando Scandrick, who played alongside the Philadelphia Eagles in 2019.

Marcus Scribner

ABC’s hit American comedy Black-Ish has become one of their most celebrated shows. And with other spin-off series following the characters in the comedy, it’s no wonder why Marcus Scribner became one of the break-out stars as one of the most likable characters on the ABC show, Andre Jr.

He demonstrated his skills as a competitive gamer too, which most likely led to his other ventures with games like Apex. As part of a feature with Polygon, Scribner gave the interviewer, Simone de Rochefort, a beating in Jump Force while also expressing his views on anime. 

Xavier Woods

For anyone whose a fan of the video game industry and the online personalities associated with it, this will surely come as a surprise to no one. Playing alongside the likes of the Kinda Funny hosts and G4, Xavier has become another brilliant personality for fans to enjoy. 

So it wasn’t surprising to know that Woods was among the many celebrities on the list who was invited to participate in Apex Legends EXP Pro-Am. And with his charisma from WWE, he surely bought the entertainment value to the exhibition.

Snoop Dogg

The infamous musician may be known for his albums and association with other hit artists in the 90s, but he has made many ventures into other industries over the years. As well as acting in the recent animated The Adams Family movies, he has also appeared on television in NBC's The Voice and coached kids for American football.

But Snoop Dogg is also an avid gamer and streamer, having cameoed in games since 2003 alongside his popular movie appearances too. When the EA servers went down during lockdown, he took to social media to represent the fans of Apex and other games that relied on the online service to play their favorite games to express his feelings about the issue.

Tatiana Suarez

The UFC fighter is no stranger to competing as she has won various matches for the UFC and Gladiator Challenges. And even before her career in mixed martial arts, she received gold medals in the Jiu-Jitsu Championship in 2013 and 2015.

While she did compete in the ESPN Apex exhibition, she did star in a video game. Featured alongside other UFC fighters, UFC 4 by EA Sports put Tatiana Saurez into the game and turned her into a playable fighter.

Post Malone

When it comes to video games, Post Malone is no stranger to showing his love for the industry. As well as appearing in a virtual concert for Pokémon, he also became the co-owner of the esports company, Envy Gaming.

But he even appeared online and on streaming websites like Twitch to show off his love for Apex Legends. He teamed up with multiple people to play the game within his squad and even joined forces with iitzTimmy to beat a season of the game.
