Casa Amor shook up the Love Island USA season 2 islanders, but the aftermath of the re-coupling wasn't a shocker to a few of the Casa Amor boys. Last season, the CBS adaptation of the popular UK series didn't feature the signature Casa Amor twist, much to fans' disappointment. But everything changed this year when the boys were sent to live in a secondary Las Vegas villa with five new women looking to flirt their way into the villa.
During this ultimate relationship test, the current villa boys are sent to meet five new women, while the girls stay in the original villa to chat up five new bachelors while their other halves are away. This season, two of the five couples, Justine and Caleb and Cely and Johnny, chose to stay together after rejoining in the villa. Friend-zoned Kierstan was hoping to reconnect with Carrington, but her heart dropped when he returned with new girl Laurel. Moira and Calvin each chose to re-couple with Casa Amor islanders, but jaws dropped when Mackenzie decided to ditch the lovely and loyal Connor for 27-year old Jalen Noble.
Only a couple days after getting to know Mackenzie, Jalen halted the relationship to explore his other options in the villa, leaving Mackenzie questioning whether Jalen lied about his intentions with her for a ticket into the villa. Casa Amor boys Mike, De'Andre, and Pat sat down with ET after leaving the island and shared their own opinions on Jalen and Mackenzie's split. Upon learning that Jalen immediately ended things with Mackenzie, Mike looked at Pat and said, "you called it," insinuating that the boys already had an inkling of Jalen's plans.
De'Andre reacted with shock, while Mike and Pat shook their hung heads in knowing disappointment. When Pat was asked directly if he predicted Jalen moving on to Kierstan he said, "I choose not to speak," all but confirming that he did. Pat may not want to be vocal about Jalen's actions, but Love Island fans are taking to Twitter to make their opinions heard. Mackenzie hasn't been America's favorite islander, but many viewers have grown to dislike Jalen based on his handling of their relationship.
During Casa Amor, the majority of viewers were on board with Mackenzie moving on to Jalen, even knowing it would leave her partner heartbroken. But now that Mackenzie realizes she was a pawn used by Jalen to make his move into the villa, she wants a second chance with Connor. The other Love Island USA islanders, however, are doing everything in their power to keep the formerly toxic couple from getting back together.
