Screen Rant is pleased to present an exclusive clip from this week's episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series, which features Brian Cox and Alan Cumming as its distinguished guests. Originally conceived as a segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Carpool Karaoke has since transitioned to a TV series on Apple TV+. It has seen great success throughout its run, recently winning Outstanding Short Form Comedy, Drama or Variety Series for the fifth consecutive time at the 2022 Emmy Awards.

Carpool Karaoke: The Series has already seen plenty of beloved stars get behind the wheel and sing fan-favorite classics and brand-new tunes. The previous batch of episodes, which premiered in December 2022, included Sandra Oh and Duran Duran; the For All Mankind cast; Nikki Glaser and Wilco; Kevin and Michael Bacon; Method Man and Chris Redd; Ciara and Russell Wilson; and Hillary Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, and Amber Ruffin. Next up are Scottish screen legends and longtime friends Brian Cox (the patriarch of Succession) and Alan Cumming (who stars in Apple TV+'s very own Schmigadoon!).

More About Carpool Karaoke: The Series

Carpool Karaoke Brian Cox & Alan Cumming posing

Screen Rant's exclusive clip from Carpool Karaoke: The Series finds Cumming setting the stage for the "Movie Tagline Game," where he and Cox must guess the famous film (that one of them starred in) based on a line of dialogue. Cumming begins by reading a line from Braveheart, which Cox is able to guess correctly after some prodding — but his responses quickly deteriorate, culminating in his uncertainty over having appeared in Separation at all. Cumming, on the other hand, is quick on his feet and guesses the right film whether it's Emma or Any Day Now — until he is stumped by The Smurfs 2, that is.

As shown in the hilarious trailer for Carpool Karaoke, the Scottish actors bond over their motherland and their shared secret love of Spice Girls as well. While both are known for their recent high-profile television roles, Brian Cox and Alan Cumming have incredible films peppered throughout their career history, which this episode may inspire younger audiences to check out.

New episodes of Carpool Karaoke: The Series will be available to stream on March 31 through Apple TV+.
