Captain Marvel's brand new clip reveals never-before-seen sequences from the Brie Larson-led project, including a look at Carol Danvers expertly fighting off Skrulls. Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, the next MCU film installment takes fans back to 1995 where they will reunite with a young, still two-eyed Fury alongside Clark Gregg's Phil Coulson who were both already working with S.H.I.E.L.D. at that time. The pair encounters Carol as she starts to retrace her past on Earth after spending her time with the extraterrestrial race, the Kree, even becoming a member of their elite squad, Starforce.

Marvel Studios' rolled out the second official trailer for Captain Marvel earlier this week but with the film nearing its release, official marketing is beginning to pick up. This means that fans can expect more content with regards to the movie, and lo and behold, just a few days after the latest trailer debuted, a brand new look at the upcoming MCU project has been unveiled.

Larson made an appearance at Comic-Con Experience 2018 in Brazil and during the Captain Marvel panel, she debuted a brand clip from the film. Unlike the previously released trailers for the film, this one is a sequence directly from the movie. While it appears to be an event-exclusive release, description of the footage quickly emerged online, including an account from the Collider's Steven Weintraub who was at the venue. In his tweet (see below), he details how Carol is being probed by the Skrulls led by Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) before she breaks free and easily defeats them - even when her powers are restricted by a nullifying device.

Aside from the scene, fans were also shown a flurry of shots from the movie, including another look at Annette Bening's still-unnamed character saying that Carol is reborn on the Kree homeworld of Hala, as reported by MCU Exchange. The hero is then seen training with Jude Law's equally mysterious Kree warrior. However, arguably the main takeaway from the panel is the reveal of how the Skrulls shapeshift - something that wasn't in any of the official trailers for Captain Marvel. In fact, this is probably the most Marvel Studios has shown of them.

Based on the description, the interrogation scene is likely to explain how Carol crashes to Earth as she flees the Skrull ship, riding an escape pod which could've been shot down. Fans have actually seen a snippet of the said sequence in both Captain Marvel trailers, where Carol hands upside down, strapped to some form of a torture device - almost as if the shape-shifting race is draining her brain of memories. It's hard to gauge exactly what Talos wants from her, but considering that she's a member of Starforce and the events of the film take place in the middle of the Kree-Skrull war, chances are that they want intel.
