Warning: SPOILERS for Captain Marvel #14

The fans who had trouble believing Captain Marvel would actually turn to the darkness and set about killing the Avengers in a single day have had their eyes opened. Clones, Inhumans, and Kree Super-Intelligence. Oh, and a dead Iron Man, too.

Carol's shocking adventure, "The Last Avenger," began with the death of Thor, the god of thunder's decapitated head presented to Vox Supreme. For those who missed out on the Death of the Inhumans storyline, Vox Supreme is a mutated Kree now sharing a single body with the Kree Super-Intelligence. Vox is the one who has given Captain Marvel a single day to kill the Avengers, threatening to set off bombs planted across the planet should she fail. After Captain Marvel moved onto Iron Man, she revealed the truth of her actions by tossing Tony into the entity called Singularity... where she could not be monitored by Vox.

There Carol (with Thor's help) revealed she is actually delivering dead cloned bodies to Vox, but in the newest preview for Captain Marvel #14, it seems the villain is just as pleased with the artificial Avengers' remains. And not completely deceived by Carol's use of Singularity, either. Check out the official preview pages below:
