Captain Marvel star Brie Larson reacted to early images of her first official Marvel movie action figure. The Marvel Cinematic Universe's roster of heroes is looking particularly sparse at present after Thanos' infamous finger snap in Avengers: Infinity War, which ruthlessly wiped out half of the universe. In a post-credits scene, Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury was also seen succumbing to the power of the Infinity Gauntlet but before he was dusted completely, the former S.H.I.E.L.D. boss left a message with one of his old contacts: Captain Marvel. With Ant-Man and The Wasp now in the rear-view, Marvel Studios are full-steam ahead on their first female-fronted solo movie which will feature the returning Fury as well as Agent Coulson, Ronan the Accuser and debuting iconic comic baddies, the Skrulls.

After a series of first-look images landed over the past few weeks, the Captain Marvel movie trailer finally dropped, alongside a new poster. Showcasing Larson in full costume and highlighting the movie's 1990s setting, the Captain Marvel trailer promises action both on Earth and in outer space, with the familiar tones of Jackson on hand to guide fans unfamiliar with this mighty new addition to the franchise. Images of the movie's line of action figures have also begun appearing online, including one of the heroine herself, which reportedly features additional head and hand attachments.

Larson herself has now reacted to the image of her action figure via her Twitter, jokingly asking Marvel what the "additional head" could possibly be.

In answer to her question, it's highly likely that the extra noggin will be adorned with Captain Marvel's helmet/mohawk combo, as seen in the trailer. It's a look that is inspired heavily by the Marvel comics but while the print iteration of the superhero has been known to rock a mohawk-style hairdo, Larson's live-action version of the character will seemingly only have the look when the helmet covers the rest of her long locks.

After Larson was confirmed for the role of Captain Marvel, the actress expressed her delight at not only joining the MCU and starring in the franchise's first female solo venture, but also at getting to see herself in action figure form and indeed many superhero actors have claimed this to be the moment where the significance of their casting "sunk in." With that in mind, Larson's reaction plays things surprisingly cool but there's little doubt that the actress' first reaction to seeing herself in miniature would have been nothing short of total excitement - a feeling fans of the MCU share completely as anticipation for Captain Marvel continues to build.
