Brie Larson's new workout video hypes up her training for Captain Marvel 2. After joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe to play Carol Danvers, Larson headlined the first MCU female-led solo movie. Captain Marvel was a huge hit at the box office, as it earned more than $1 billion and positioned Carol Danvers to be the interconnected franchise's most powerful hero. Although that title could belong to Scarlet Witch now, Larson has the chance to explore more of Carol's powers and abilities in Captain Marvel 2.

Marvel Studios officially announced Captain Marvel 2 was in the works in early 2020, with WandaVision's Megan McDonnell writing the script. The movie later received a July 2022 release date and secured Candyman's Nia DaCosta as its director. While Marvel then delayed Captain Marvel 2 to November due to the constantly shifting Phase 4 slate, the movie has continued to make progress. Casting is underway ahead of filming beginning in May, but that also means Larson and other stars are deep in the training process to get in superhero shape.

In a new video posted on Twitter, Brie Larson shares a look at her Captain Marvel 2 training. She teases that this is the real beginning of her workout schedule to prepare for the MCU sequel. Larson is coached virtually by a personal trainer and is working out in her new home gym for Captain Marvel 2's training sessions.

Larson is one of many MCU stars who transformed their bodies to play their superhero characters. She trained relentlessly in preparation for shooting Avengers: Endgame and Captain Marvel back-to-back in the past and repeatedly shared glimpses of her workouts at that time. With this glimpse at the Captain Marvel 2 training process, this could be a good sign that Larson will provide plenty of updates. Some of her previous training videos showed her pushing a car, so it will be fun to see what the star does now to up the ante for the sequel.

It shouldn't come as a surprise that Larson is fully committed to Captain Marvel 2's training. She's said in the past that the workouts for the first movie made her realize how strong she was, which helped her when it came to playing someone as powerful as Carol Danvers. The training made Larson look strong too, but it also helped her feel strong and carry that strength into playing her MCU hero. This helped her performance and allowed her to do a handful of her own stunts. It's no wonder many fans view Captain Marvel as a symbol of strength. Now that she's in the middle of Captain Marvel 2 training, hopefully, there are more opportunities for fans to see the work Larson is putting in to play Carol Danvers.
