New Captain America art from BossLogic shows Chris Evans looking extra buff in an homage to a classic piece of comics promo art. Evans has played Steve Rogers/Captain America since Captain America: The First Avenger came out in 2011. He quickly became a fan favorite character and sparring partner to Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man. Evans then starred in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which many consider to be the strongest MCU film of all time. The movie is beloved for its action sequences especially, including a memorable elevator fight scene with Captain America. Since appearing in his first MCU movie, Evans has starred in six more, with cameos in several others.

Unfortunately, Captain America's time in the Marvel world is over for now. Steve made the decision at the end of Avengers: Endgame to travel back in time and create a life with his first love, Peggy Carter. He met up with Sam Wilson/Falcon as an old man, passing his shield and the Captain America mantle onto him. This decision will factor heavily into the upcoming Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. In it, Sam will struggle with Captain America's legacy and the expectations that come with the shield. That series will also feature Steve's other best friend, Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, though Sam and Bucky won't get along in the beginning.

Popular fan artist BossLogic shared his image of Chris Evans as super buff Captain America on Twitter. The creation is an homage to a piece of promotional art by Rob Liefeld, a prolific comic book writer and artist. Liefeld shared the new image as well, adding "All in!!" above it to indicate his approval. Check out the Captain America design and Liefeld's tweet below:

Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the MCU post-Avengers: Endgame is in a state of uncertainty. The Falcon and the Winter Solider was supposed to premiere in August. However, filming had to stop in Prague a few weeks ago, with cast and crew sent back home. A similar fate awaited fellow Disney+ series Loki and WandaVision, as both had to cease production as well. Marvel's upcoming Black Widow movie has been affected as well, with its release date postponed indefinitely. Fans likely won't know for weeks when these MCU projects will be able to resume production.

Considering how buff Chris Evans already is as Captain America, it's impressive there's a noticeable difference in BossLogic's amped up art. The work respects Captain America's MCU appearance and costume, while also effectively paying homage to Liefeld's original creation. Fans may not see Evans play Steve Rogers again for awhile, if ever, but it's nice to know artists are still thinking about his time in the role. Captain America is a huge reason why the MCU was successful, and fan art like this gives Evan's portrayal the respect it deserves.
