On December 23, 2022, World of Wonder served up Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. The World season finale, and audiences want to know more about the second runner-up, Rita Baga. The all-new series imported competing queens from the US, the UK, and Down Under (Australia) to take on Canada's defending queens. The program followed the original global drag showdown, Drag Race UK vs. The World.

On Canada’s Drag Race: Canada Vs. The World, Rita starred alongside fan-favorites Ra’Jah O’Hara and Silky Nutmeg Ganache, UK queen Vanity Milan, as well as Canadian sisters, Stephanie Prince and Icesis Couture. During Rita's run, she won two Maxi Challenges. She was victorious in the girl groups challenge and the “Spy Queens” acting challenge, in which the queens starred in RuPaul’s action-packed blockbuster film, Spy Queens. Rita Baga’s Age, Hometown, Career, & Bio

35-year-old Jean-Francois Guevremont, AKA Rita Baga, was born in suburban Boucherville, Quebec, Canada; however, she now resides and performs in Montreal. Before Canada's Drag Race, the queen gained prominence in 2007, following a Sister Act medley at Quebec’s Cabaret Mado. In 2014, she launched her first show, “Bagalicious,” at said Cabaret Mado, granting Rita the opportunity to build her image.

In 2019, Rita was cast in Canada’s Drag Race's inaugural season. Following her success on the show, Rita competed in Quebec’s first-ever season of Celebrity Big Brother. She lasted 29 days, ultimately placing 12th. Recently, Rita was announced as the host of Drag Race Belgique, RuPaul’s Belgian spin-off. The show has yet to premiere.

Rita competed on Canada’s Drag Race season 1, alongside Jimbo, Lemon, BOA, and Scarlett BoBo. During her feature, she claimed three Maxi Challenge victories: the “Eh-leganza Eh-xtravaganza” couture challenge, the “Single-Use Queens” fashion line challenge, and the “Star Sixty-Nine” commercial challenge – in which the queens made advertisements for fictitious law firms. In the finale, Rita placed as the runner-up to Priyanka.

Her account primarily flaunts her comedic looks and promotes her new perfume line, “LunaireXSolaire.” The Drag Race Belgique host has over 180,000 followers on the platform. Rita tied for third on Canada's Drag Race: Canada vs. The World. A global, all-star fight to the finish, the show's epic conclusion now streams on WOW Presents Plus.
