A Call of Duty: Warzone glitch put every player on one team, sparking absolute chaos in a custom game. The Call of Duty battle royale is known not only for its rapid success and popularity but also for Warzone's ample new glitches that plague the game. From game-breaking glitches that give players unfair advantages against others to just-plain frustrating glitches that negatively affect a player without warning – Warzone has it all. While most fans have stuck it out despite these issues, many are ready for change. However, some glitches don’t have the same game-breaking effect as others and are simply a hilarious story to tell. One Warzone match experienced just that when the entire lobby was accidentally placed on the same team.

Glitches are one of many issues plaguing Call of Duty: Warzone in its current state. Hackers and cheaters are running rampant across the game, exploiting in-game glitches and hacked clients to gain unfair advantages against others. While Activision has cracked down on the sale of hacked Warzone accounts, more needs to be done to rid the battle royale of cheaters. Activision confirmed an anti-cheat system, a program created by Raven, to prevent incessant cheaters. It’s not clear if the thicker protection will prevent only hackers, or if the program will also catch players exploiting glitches, too. Until the anti-cheat is released Warzone players will have to cope with the glitches when they arise. Some glitches aren’t, however, so bad.

Twitter user Devious posted an insane video that showed a Warzone match where all the players were placed on the same team. The lobby was separated into squads, but every player was color-coded on the map. Since they were all on the same team, no player could damage another, and the custom lobby was forced to reset the match. The 30-second video showed the chaos that ensued during the glitched match. With every player on the same team, nobody could win but nobody could lose either.

While some Warzone glitches are extremely annoying and often game-ruining, this recent custom games error was more funny than frustrating. Seeing dozens of players on the mini-map is a unique experience and a really cool story to tell. The glitch did require the players to reset the match, though, which caused a delay in gameplay. For some players, it’s these annoying glitches that cause the most havoc, wasting gamers’ time. With a battle royale, each match can take 30 to 40 minutes, which means every match has to count. When matches are ruined by glitches, it makes playtime a lot less efficient.

How Call of Duty: Warzone glitched to put everyone on the same team is a question without an answer. However, it is a super interesting concept. Though squads were separated, every player was on the same team. This means as soon as everyone landed, the game should have registered it as a victory. That was not the case, though, which makes the glitch even more mysterious. Hopefully, it was a one-time deal and the lobby was able to jump into another match without issue.
