The map for Call of Duty: Warzone's upcoming subway system has been revealed ahead of the Season 6 update that will add it to the game. Recently, the reveal trailer for Season 6 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released, which was centered around a fight within the new subway location. The teaser trailer ended with a vague outline of what the subway system map might look like.

Rumors of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Season 6 were circulating in early September as players were getting ready for new content on the horizon. The addition of the subway system will follow the trend of new dynamic areas being added to the Verdansk map. So far, the additions have included a train system, the stadium opening up, and then a host of Bunkers that can be accessed around the map with a little bit of work. The subway system addition looks to be the largest dynamic addition to Call of Duty: Warzone to date.

An official image of the new subway system in Call of Duty: Warzone recently appeared on the official Call of Duty Twitter account. The tweet tells players to study the upcoming stops, and there is a lot of information to take in on one image. The image shows the whole map beneath what appears to be a topographical version of Verdansk. On the right side of the image is a list of seven stops and the route in which they will be going. Like real-life subway maps, the image has different colored lines to show which stops each train car will make. What is also interesting is the text at the bottom right of the image that reads:

"Please Be Advised: In the event of an environmental hazard occurring at train station, train will continue operation to the next nearest safe station on the line."

Season 6 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is slated to drop next week, on September 29th. In the recent teaser trailer for the season, not only was the subway confirmed to be a real addition, but two characters are supposedly going to be making an appearance. Based on the trailer, Farah from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare campaign and the Soviet fighter known as Nikolai will be returning to combat.

If the subway system really does cover the entirety of the map, then Call of Duty: Warzone players are in for one of the best additions to Verdansk so far. Not only will that change the entire dynamic of the map, which will make players have to learn new ways to play, but it will also provide yet another way to get around the massive Verdansk map. The subway is the largest addition to Warzone to date, and it will be interesting to see if updates this size continue as Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War releases soon enough.
