The legendary rapper Snoop Dogg was recently added to Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Vanguard, and he comes complete with his own arsenal of themed weapons. The rapper, actor, and entrepreneur is known for hits like "Drop It Like It's Hot" and "Gin and Juice" as well as famous collaborations with fellow icon Dr. Dre. The Doggfather is also known for his love of gaming, with Snoop Dogg joining esports organization FaZe Clan back in March. However, his recent appearance as a playable character in Call of Duty may be Snoop's greatest gaming accomplishment yet.

Over the years Snoop Dogg has been involved in a number of video game projects, often making humorous cameo appearances. Snoopzilla actually had received his own rhythmic fighting game in 2013, Way of the Dogg, which saw the rapper train the player character in musical martial arts. NHL 20 and Madden NFL 20 both let gamers play competitive sports as the Long Beach legend, while downloadable content for Call of Duty: Ghosts saw the wise wordsmith become a multiplayer match announcer. However, the addition of Snoop Dogg to CoD: Warzone and Vanguard is an even more exciting addition to the first-person shooter franchise.

A new Snoop Dogg Operator skin came to Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard on April 19, allowing gamers to fight through intense battlefields using the icon's voice and likeness. The themed set comes with multiple alternate outfits, letting players dress Snoop Dogg in drip ranging from a stylish fur-lined jacket to the gold-embroidered "VIP" suit. The rapper also has his own exclusive progression track that lets gamers reach the next episode, and earn a number of exclusive rewards befitting one of hip hop's biggest talents, once they unlock Snoop Dogg in Warzone and Vanguard.

Alongside cosmetic items, Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard have added special themed weapons for Snoop Dogg to wield in battle. The Bong Ripper is a legendary sniper rifle decorated with Rastafarian colors and marijuana leaves, letting the musician take down enemies from long range. The West Coast Bling, meanwhile, is a legendary assault rifle that pays tribute to Snoop's Long Beach origins. Finally, Snoop has access to a legendary SMG covered in colorful graffiti called Tha Shiznit. Each of these guns also comes with Green Weed Tracer Rounds, referencing Snoop Dogg's love for all things medicinal. Following Scream and Donnie Darko skins in Warzone, the multiplayer shooter seems determined to go all-out with creative crossovers.

As a member of FaZe Clan and a reoccurring Call of Duty guest, Snoop Dogg has cemented himself as a gaming industry icon. His presence as a playable Operator in Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard lets players shoot in style, and an arsenal of weed-themed weapons makes the inclusion even more hilarious and bizarre. The Bong Ripper sniper rifle particularly emphasizes cannabis, and Green Weed Tracer Rounds make the reference impossible to ignore. For fans looking to prepare for the Godzilla crossover coming to CoD: Warzone, playing as Snoop Dogg can earn them some serious firepower to avoid dropping a match like it's hot.
