Recent Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer leaks include Major League Soccer player skins. Although MW2's campaign was available early for those who pre-ordered the Infinity Ward FPS, the official release date of October 28 also includes the long-awaited Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer modes. Most elements of the multiplayer aspect of MW2 have previously been revealed in the game's beta, as well as Call of Duty's website, so players know what to expect going into it.

Although the main points of MW2's multiplayer are known, players seem excited about recent leaks featuring Operator skins. Twitter users chuboi and Hope have revealed that some MLS players will be receiving Modern Warfare 2 skins, featuring the likes of Neymar and Pogba in military attire. According to VGC, the crossover has been rumored for quite some time, and recent datamines seemingly confirm a list of Major League Soccer players that will appear in CoD: MW2, including football legend Lionel Messi.

Infinity Ward Warns Players Against Changing Console Region Settings

Modern Warfare 2's photorealistic graphics make the upcoming skins even more alluring, and it'll be interesting to see exactly how multiplayer will function with the changes Infinity Ward and Activision have promised since the beta. Multiplayer is rolling out at different times based on regions, with New Zealand being the first to have access. That being said, console users have been warned not to change their region settings, or else they will be locked out of Modern Warfare 2 entirely until their region's release time.

So far, many fans who have played CoD: MW2's campaign have given it considerable praise. With beloved franchise aspects like classic maps and Ghost and Soap returning, it's no wonder that the sequel to 2019's Modern Warfare is already successful prior to its actual release. Modern Warfare 2's file size is drastically smaller than that of previous Call of Duty titles, even while featuring upgraded graphics, an extensive campaign, and several upcoming multiplayer modes, including returning classics like Hardpoint and Search & Destroy.

A football collaboration with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 would be significant, especially with Neymar being known as both a soccer star and a first-person shooter streamer. Although Activision and Infinity Ward haven't addressed the leaks, many fans are already looking forward to their inclusion. Tomorrow's full launch will likely be even more anticipated than the launch of the early-access campaign, and CoD fans will finally have access to a fully upgraded version of what was seen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's beta. Warzone 2 will also launch on November 16, and Call of Duty's future console plans include branching out to other systems such as Nintendo Switch.
