Focusing on both true crime cases and supernatural cases the series Buzzfeed Unsolved can truly be terrifying, but it's also proved to be equally, if not more, hilarious due to the commentary of the two co-hosts Ryan Bergara and Shane Madej.

Ryan's humor ranges from confidently deadpan to outrageously panicked to random commentary and all of it is gold. Let's revisit some of the funniest lines Ryan has said on the show so far, get ready to wheeze laugh!

"Does hair grow through the skull?"

Ryan's bandana may have been a bit too tight during this episode when he asks Shane why there's sometimes hair in skulls while discussing the Bella in the Wych Elm case. They have a long, bewildering conversation as Shane tries to get Ryan to understand that hair doesn't start growing under the skull.

It ends with Ryan cracking himself up and Shane looking off into the distance and shaking his head and within minutes Ryan is asking if skeleton bones stick together after decomposition. This episode sees both Ryan and Shane display chaotic energy and it's wildly entertaining.

"LinkedIn for criminals, write that down under our schemes."

Shane and Ryan wonder how criminals connect with each other because, as Ryan points out, it's not like LinkedIn for criminals exists. He takes a beat and tells Shane to write down the idea along with their other schemes.

It's a hilarious thought, these two creating a LinkedIn type of service for criminals to connect with each other, and that a list might exist with more hair-brained schemes.

"Where's my holy water?"

Ryan is known to take holy water on any demon cases they look into and one of the first episodes he gets a little anxious and asks where his holy water is. His holy water acts like a safety blanket that he can hold onto and break out in case of any demon activity.

His panicked question pretty much sums up his demeanor on demon investigations.

"Teenage boys are the worst."

In the Vincent van Gogh episode, Ryan and Shane discuss the theory that a group of local teenage boys accidentally killed Gogh and he told everyone he shot himself to keep the boys out of trouble.

Shane hopes that teenage boys wouldn't do that, but Ryan is quick to say that actually teenage boys are the worst and it's a decent theory.

"Wheeze."

Shane and Ryan are always wheezing when they crack themselves up on the show. It always shows up in the captioned segments to the point where it's become immediately recognizable and intertwined with the show. It happens so often throughout the series and yet it never fails to delight its audience.

"All hail The Watcher, baby."

Attributed to both Ryan and Shane in the episode where they discuss a stalker, deeming themselves The Watcher, leaving threatening letters at a house and terrorizing a family. One of the letters has a long and random list of things that might happen to the family and they should consider The Watcher responsible for anything bad that happens and ends with this quote.

Ryan and Shane go on a tangent listening off minor conveniences and says, "All hail The Watcher, baby," after each example.

"Let's get this wrapped up before noon so I can enjoy a chilly boy at the station."

Shane and Ryan are discussing the case of Marilyn and Sam Sheppard and when Ryan lays out the quick timeline for Sam's arrest, Shane understands it. Shane says he gets the impulse to solve the case quickly and if he were part of the team he'd just want to solve cases left and right and hang out at the office, to which Ryan responds, exasperated, with what Shane essentially just said when Shane tries to backtrack.

It's a hilarious way to say that Shane would just want to quickly solve cases so he could crack open a beer at the station.

"I'm gonna be so pissed off if we die."

This quote pretty much sums up Ryan on most of their investigations as Shane taunts the demons and ghouls and he gets caught up in the chaos. After Shane and Ryan travel to see the cursed Annabelle doll, Ryan says this line on a car ride to the airport as Shane laughs.

Shane's spent the whole day taunting the cursed doll as Ryan attempts to hold him back, but he can't help but worry that Annabelle will seek revenge.

"I've connected the two dots." "You didn't connect sh*t."

Although Shane's the one that starts this quote, Ryan comes in with the deadpan zinger that shuts him attempting to finish any type of theory he's trying to string together.

Shane thinks he's solved the unsolvable case and Ryan's quick to shut him down and crush his dreams of solving a case. It's very in character for both of them and is one of the top interactions of the show.

"Don't try it, demon."

This quote is funniest with the visual of Ryan whipping out a water pistol filled with holy water, ready to fight an actual demon, but it's still a quote that can be used for any occasion.

It's a truly versatile and hilarious quote that works so well on the show for comedic effect, but can also be used successfully outside of the show in almost any other context.
