The official Bullet Train trailer speeds to screen revealing the first look at Brad Pitt as a hitman aboard a train full of other assassins. Pitt is leading an all-star cast for the action thriller that also includes Andrew Koji, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, Masi Oka, Michael Shannon, Logan Lerman, Hiroyuki Sanada, Karen Fukuhara, Bad Bunny and Sandra Bullock. Lady Gaga was originally set for the role of Maria Beetle, the name of the film's source novel by Kōtarō Isaka, but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts with House of Gucci.

Bullet Train centers on Pitt's Ladybug, King's Prince, Koji's Kimura, Taylor-Johnson's Tangerine, Henry's Lemon and Beetz's Hornet, five assassins who venture aboard the titular Japanese locomotive in pursuit of various targets. On the heels of the first teaser last week, Sony has revealed the official Bullet Train trailer. Set to the tune of a Japanese cover of the Bee Gees' 1977 hit "Staying Alive", the official Bullet Train trailer is sure to build plenty of anticipation amongst audiences for its July release. Between Pitt's reluctant mercenary protagonist fighting 13 assassins to stay alive to the offbeat sense of humor throughout, the film looks to have plenty to please both action and comedy fans alike. Additionally, with the shots of the killer-filled train, the trailer should remind some audiences of Bong Joon-ho's adaptation of Snowpiercer, albeit through a brighter and more humorous lens.

One of the biggest takeaways from the official Bullet Train trailer is the amount of high-octane stunts being performed aboard the titular locomotive. The film's stunt coordinator, Greg Rementer, who previously worked with Leitch on Hobbs & Shaw, previously revealed that Pitt did an estimated 95 percent of his own stunts, which can clearly be seen in his multiple hand-to-hand fight scenes with various other cast members teased in the trailer, including the hilarious Quiet Room combat with Henry. The wait to see what else the actor gets himself into won't be long as Bullet Train is set to roar into theaters on July 15.
