Sandra Bullock and Brad Pitt are reuniting for another laugh-filled action thriller with the new Bullet Train trailer. Pitt leads the ensemble cast of the film alongside Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, Bad Bunny, Zazie Beetz, Logan Lerman, Karen Fukuhara, Masi Oka and Bullock. Deadpool 2 director David Leitch is at the helm of Bullet Train with a script from Zak Olkewicz based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle from Kōtarō Isaka.

Bullet Train centers on Pitt's Ladybug, a trained-but-unlucky assassin who is eager to get out of his line of work after a series of botched jobs. With the convincing of his handler, Bullock's Maria Beetle, Ladybug takes one final job to collect a briefcase from the titular locomotive heading from Tokyo to Kyoto. However, upon finding himself trapped onboard with a number of other assassins with connected objectives and a mutual hatred for Ladybug, he must fight to stay alive until he can reach his final destination.

With less than two months remaining until its arrival, Sony has released a new Bullet Train trailer. The video introduces the group of rivals hunting down Brad Pitt's assassin in the film, as well as the first look at Sandra Bullock as his handler. Check out the exciting new trailer below:

Bullet Train marks the second major collaboration between Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock this year following the release of the adventure rom-com The Lost City, which was led by Bullock and Channing Tatum and saw Pitt in an extended cameo. Though The Lost City hit theaters first, it was actually Pitt and Bullock's time on Bullet Train together that led to his role in the well-received adventure film, as Pitt began talking with Bullock's hairstylist on the action thriller about potential looks for his character. With the star-studded roster on the film, most of Bullet Train's previous marketing has kept a few of its stars' roles under wraps, namely Bullock's Maria Beetle, named for the source novel, Michael Shannon's Jay Wang and Masi Oka's undisclosed character.

In addition to introducing Bullock's assassin handler, the new Bullet Train trailer offers interesting insight to the rival assassins coming after Pitt's Ladybug, as well as the mindset of Ladybug himself. The first trailer painted Pitt's character as an expert killer ready to leave his career behind, though the new trailer offers a different look as a more unlucky assassin fighting for his life, blending the hard-hitting action of Leitch's John Wick past with a darker sense of humor than Keanu Reeves' action franchise. The wait for Bullet Train is nearly over as the film hits theaters on August 5.
