It's the annual event every Brooklyn Nine-Nine fan looks forward to – The Halloween Heist! Filled with hijinks galore, the Halloween Heists bring out the best of the squad (or worst, depending on how you see it), as each character vies to become the best human/genius.

The escapades — which have moved past Halloween to become Cinco de Mayo or even Easter Heists — consistently turn out the wackiest behavior on TV. Take a look below at the 10 craziest stunts. With seven heist specials, there was plenty to choose from.

Jake Crashing Through The Ceiling

In the very first Halloween Heist during season one, Jake concocts a crazy scheme (which, in retrospect, seems tame compared to the series' later shenanigans) to hide in Holt's ceiling in an attempt to steal the Medal of Valor off Holt's wall.

Jake (or, more aptly, a stunt double) crashes through the ceiling. Shamelessly, he continues on in his mission and, successfully, wins the heist. It was a sign of all that was to come in future heists.

Holt's Party Bus Diversion

During the second heist, in which Holt went on to become the winner, the squad teams up to prank Peralta. Holt rents an entire party bus for the stunt, which includes detailed costumes, miscellaneous partygoers, and hysterical covers.

They manage to separate Jake and Charles, swipe Jake's ID under the guise of Halloween drunks, and drive twelve blocks without Jake catching on. It took nearly the entire team to make it possible.

Jake & Holt Scaling All Those Stairs

Okay, so it wasn't a planned stunt, but it sure was crazy. To declare her victory, Amy stages a reveal on the top of an apartment building, forcing Jake and Holt to race up more than two dozen flights to reach her.

Of course, Jake pukes (multiple times), Holt loses his cool, and they are shocked to find out Amy was behind it all along. No word on whether they required body doubles for this particular stunt.

The Wrong Vent

Team Jake — consisting of Jake, Charles, and Rosa — makes their move on the crown in the interrogation room during season three's heist. Jake pops out of the "wrong vent," or so he says, accusing Charles of marking the wrong space in an effort to distract Gina.

In actuality, Rosa was pulling a stunt worthy of a Mission Impossible sequel. She pops the glass off, somersaults through, secures the crown with a knife, and re-secures the glass. Before Gina even knows the crown is gone, Rosa floats back up through the ceiling.

A Real Proposal

This was less of a physical stunt and more of a stunt for ratings: Jake and Amy finally got engaged in one of the series' most heartfelt moments. Of course, it takes place during a Halloween Heist.

Jake orchestrates a wild plan culminating in a swapped-out cummerbund reading "Amy Santiago, Will You Marry Me?" This move had fans everywhere swooning and solidified Jake and Amy as one of TV's best couples.

Jake's Fake Therapist

Amy hired an actress to pretend to be Jake's therapist for months on end while sleuthing for clues. While not an action-packed feat, it was an elaborate stunt for Amy to pull. Oh, and Rosa was listening in too.

By the end of the Halloween/Valentine's Day/Easter heist, Jake was stunned to find out the truth about this ploy. He admitted some deep secrets and, possibly, something about his best friend Boyle. After this, who knows how much crazier the out-of-office plans will get?

Cheddar's Slow-Mo Scene

To no one's surprise, Cheddar made a splash right away in the latest heist. Well, technically, it was the first phase of the latest heist. In what is probably the cutest stunt on the list, he bolts onto the scene through a cloud of fog like an action hero.

Cheddar gets multiple, slow-motion looks at his entrance. Alas, the stunt goes awry, as Cheddar's keen sense of smell worked against Holt when it turns out Rosa was sneaking him ham all along in a bid to eat the Infinitude Gem. Better luck next stunt, Thicc King.

Terry Painting His Body Gold

It was finally the year he won, but it came at a cost: One of the show's silliest gags. In the Cinco de Mayo Heist, Terry spray paints himself gold, not unlike the infamous Goldfinger scene from James Bond.

This one actually was a real-life stunt (that went awry): Terry Crews really wore that paint and gold clothes and ended up with an allergic reaction. Although it left him in pain, he deemed the joke worth it in the end.

Gina Knocking Out Her Teeth

Gina took stunts to a whole new level on the show when she surreptitiously takes the lead during the heist by knocking out her two front teeth in a roller-blading accident. They weren't her real teeth, but it was still one of the craziest gags.

Technically, the stunt goes way back: At Jean Sutton's fourth-grade birthday party, Gina lost her real teeth and pulled out her fake set for the illusion. In the end, Gina surprises the squad with a major reveal and speech.

Rosa's Grand Finale

It was the coolest stunt in any heist and, possibly, any episode. She faced insurmountable odds being partnered with Scully, but Rosa managed to pull off three heist wins in one. And she pulled it all off with the wildest stunt ever.

In a chaotic moment played twice during the episode for laughs, Rosa jumps off the roof backward, landing amongst flames spelling her name and traffic cones outfitted with sparklers. Best human/genius indeed.
