Brooklyn Nine-Nine is one of the best sitcoms on television right now, no question about it. The Andy Samberg-led cop comedy follows the lives of the detectives of the 99th precinct and the crazy hijinks they find themselves in.

While the core cast is already perfectly hilarious all on their own, the series has also enlisted some of the best guest-stars to further complement their characters. So for all of you Brooklyn Nine-Nine fanatics who find it impossible to pick a favorite guest-star of the series, let us countdown for you our list of the 10 all-time best guest stars in Brooklyn Nine-Nine history.

The Vulture — Dean Winters

Hands down, one of the best recurring guest-stars is The Vulture, played by Dean Winters. His hilariously over-the-top arrogant and tacky ways constantly make him the thorn in the side of the 99th precinct.

He has a knack for swooping in and solving a case that the detectives have almost completely solved and then takes credit for it. But he has done far worse, including trying to get Jake demoted if he doesn't break up with Amy while acting as his captain. Even though he's diabolical, he's not very smart and he makes many situations the detectives find themselves in some of the most comical of the series.

Roger Peralta — Bradley Whitford

Bradley Whitford is a bit of a chameleon. He can play super serious roles (like on The Handmaid's Tale) and then find himself playing a character that is one of the funniest guest-stars in Brooklyn Nine-Nine history.

Playing Jake's dad, Roger Peralta, he has shown time and time again why Jake has serious daddy issues. But even though he needs some help with his parenting skills, he's so utterly clueless that you can't help but laugh at his ridiculous antics. He even has provided some much needed comic relief, as he did in the Thanksgiving episode in season 5 when Jake's parents met Amy's parents for the first time. Comedic gold, we tell you.

Adrian Pimento — Jason Mantzoukas

Adrian Pimento is the definition of a loose-cannon cop who plays by his own rules. He made his first appearance in season 3 and quickly became one of the most iconic guest-stars of the series. Obviously, he became quite the fan-favorite as his character continued to develop and his relationship with Rosa only got stronger. You never knew what kind of chaos Adrian would find himself in, or how much he would be reveling in it.

He's the funniest character that you could never look away from whenever he was on-screen. We really don't know how the cast ever got any work done around Mantzoukas.

The Pontiac Bandit — Craig Robinson

Every season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, it's pretty much guaranteed that The Pontiac Bandit, played by Craig Robinson, is bound to make an appearance. He started out as Jake's ultimate enemy and then turned into a frenemy until he ultimately became a close friend to Jake, much to his chagrin.

The two just had way too much in common to stop a friendship from brewing between them. Even though Doug Judy (a.k.a. The Pontiac Bandit) always seems to get one up on Peralta, we can't help but love watching their back and forth banter play out on-screen each season he appears.

Philip Davidson — Sterling K. Brown

When thinking of the incredible actor, Sterling K. Brown, you probably wouldn't think he could be funny. But he more than proved that he has that side to him in the famous "The Box" episode of Brookly Nine-Nine. He played a dentist who was wanted for murder, and Jake and Captain Holt only had one night to get a confession out of him. It was intense, at times, sure. But more than anything he played off the other actors impeccably well and had you laughing at inappropriate times.

To be honest, he gave an Emmy-worthy performance in this episode and we almost wish he'd make another appearance... even if he did turn out to be a murderer.

Karen Peralta — Katey Sagal

Katey Sagal is yet another actor who has graced this television series that has done both drama and comedies throughout her career. She excels in both arenas, but we absolutely adore her as Jake's "flighty, weirdo" mom.

She has clearly shown how much she loves her detective son and immediately accepts his love, Amy, into their family. She even forgives her ex -- Jake's dad -- for all of his unfaithfulnesses over the years. Through all of that, she still has her hippie, oddball side that makes for seriously hilarious moments between Jake and his mom. We always get excited when she appears on the show.

Caleb The Cannibal — Tim Meadows

Andy Samberg's fellow SNL veteran friend, Tim Meadows, has appeared on Brooklyn Nine-Nine in a handful of episodes and always leaves his mark, almost literally. Play Caleb the Cannibal, he becomes a friend to Jake while he is in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Of course, Jake isn't immediately aware of Caleb's crimes that he is 100% guilty of, but they still remain friends once he finds out. He was in prison at the time, after all. There are only so many types of friends you can make in there.

Meadows had an incredible way of going from completely calm to a blood-thirsty cannibal in the blink of an eye. It was a laugh riot.

Victor Santiago — Jimmy Smits

When Jake and Amy are dating, Jake decides to impress Amy's dad when he meets him for the first time. Enter Jimmy Smits as Victor Santiago. He is as Type-A as his daughter and doesn't think Jake will ever be good enough for her, as we later find out. The two eventually become closer and Jake is accepted into the Santiago family.

Jimmy Smits is such a wonderful actor that you can't help but get excited to see him on a show such as Brooklyn Nine-Nine, where he can play a more comical character like Victor.

Seth Dozerman — Bill Hader

Samberg's former co-star on Saturday Night Live, Bill Hader, has made quite a name for himself in Hollywood as a comedian. He now has his own show on HBO called Barry, which is an Emmy-winning dramedy everyone should check out.

But before that, he guest-starred as the new captain of the 99th precinct in season 3. Seth Dozerman made quite the impact on the detectives in the short amount of time he was there.

He was incredibly strict, which is why he freaked out when he saw Jake and Amy making out in the evidence room. This led to him dying of a heart attack -- literally. It was the most hilariously inappropriate moment that Hader made his own.

Kevin Cozner — Marc Evan Jackson

Perhaps one of the most underrated guest-stars in B99 history would be Kevin Cozner, Captain Holt's husband. Played by Marc Evan Jackson, his deadpan comedy and comedic timing make his character one of the best of the series.

He truly shined in season 5, during the "Safe House" episode. He must stay in a safe house while Captain Holt and the 99th precinct search for the man trying to end his life in retaliation to Captain Holt denying the crime family help. While there, he is holed up with Peralta. The two are polar opposites in just about everything, which left us with some of the most quote-worthy moments of the show.
