Bringing Up Bates' Tori Bates is pregnant less than a year after giving birth to her first child. Both the Bates family and the Duggar family have been known to run in the same circles as both practice the same conservative Christian beliefs.

Bringing Up Bates is a reality television show that is concentrated around the head of the family, Gil and Kelly Jo, who are parents to 19 children. The couple married back in 1987 when they were both in their early 20s. Since that time, the couple has given birth to 9 boys and 10 girls. The family lives their life in a Christ-centered fashion, having strong morals, a modest dress code for the girls - which means they can only wear dresses - homeschooling, and no TV.

The Bringing Up Bates star, who was originally seen on 19 Kids and Counting, has announced that she is expecting baby number two. Bates and her husband Bobby Smith shared the exciting news (via: Us Weekly) during an exclusive interview, saying they are more than excited to expand their family. The couple already has one son who is almost a year old, Robert Ellison, who they nicknamed Kade, and they're happy to be making him a big brother in April 2020. The religious couple thanked God for having blessed them with another miracle and decided to name the baby Kolter Grey.

The couple married in December of 2017 and welcomed their first baby in May of 2018. Incidentally, they are not the only Bates family members to be adding to their brood this year, as a sister, Josie, announced back in February that she was expecting a baby girl with her husband, Kelton Balka. Then, this past July, Whitney Bates, Carlin Bates, and Erin Bates announced that they too would be expecting little bundles of joy, while only last month sister Carlin and her husband Evan Stewart announced that they would be expecting their first child, again thanking God for blessing them.

While the Bates children have been quiet regarding whether they too will have large families, they're already showing proof that they're happy to expand their families without waiting too long in between babies. Time will tell if the younger generations end up getting their own spinoff shows like their parents, but, for now, they can enjoy the happy families they're in the process of growing.
