Brielle Biermann of Don’t Be Tardy decided to dissolve her lip fillers and now says she looks 18 again. The reality star always felt uncomfortable with how her lips looked but recently made the decision that she wanted to go back to her natural look.
Biermann first shot to fame when her mother, Kim Zolciak-Biermann starred in The Real Housewives of Atlanta alongside NeNe Leakes, Cynthia Bailey, and Kandi Burruss. Fans watched as she grew from a child into a mini-me of her mother as she started to wear makeup and wigs as her famous mother did. Kim has gotten immense backlash for her way of life and love of cosmetic procedures, wigs, and allowing her children to follow her in her footsteps.
The 22-year-old took to her Instagram story on Saturday, January 4th to share with her followers that she had gone back to her original lips. In a surprising announcement, she told fans that she was done with lip fillers and had them removed. According to People, the Don’t Be Tardy star said she first started getting lip treatment at the age of 18 and had not really taken a break since. In her Instagram story, Biermann said that she looked like "18-year-old Brielle again" and that 2020 was going to bring about a whole new her.
The Bravo personality told fans that due to the removal of the fillers she would have some bruising for a few more days. Biermann also posted some throwback photos from before she had any procedures performed when she was 16 and 17 showing how she commented on how thin they were. The reality star had also been forthcoming with how she did not like the way she looked when she was younger, implying she felt like a plain jane. In February 2019, Biermann explained that she was insecure about her lips because she felt she had none, and she believed all her friends had big, pouty lips.
When the reality TV star was younger her mother, Kim, would not allow her daughter to have any cosmetic procedure before she was a legal adult. Even though Biermann admitted to having her lips done she has denied touching the rest of her face. Don't Be Tardy fans have enjoyed seeing the mother-daughter bond between the two stars and were happy to hear that her mother supported her choice to downgrade her lips. Followers of Biermann are also excited to see if she stops some of her other beauty regimens to give her body a break from the toxins.
