Bridgerton fans are celebrating the anniversary of Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma. The series, which debuted on Netflix in 2020, is a Regency-era romance following the romantic travails of the siblings of the vast Bridgerton family. Season 1 followed Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) falling head over heels for the rakish Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page), while season 2 saw Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) take the lead as he found himself in a torrid love triangle with sisters Kate (Simone Ashley) and Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran).

Today, March 25, marks exactly once year since the Netflix premiere of Bridgerton season 2. Fans are treating this as the anniversary of Anthony and Kate, and taking to social media to celebrate the popular TV couple, which has been dubbed "Kanthony." Check out selected tributes below:

There Is Much More Romance in Store in Bridgerton

An Almost Kiss in Queen Charlotte a Bridgerton Story

Bridgerton has proven its ability to produce iconic couples twice over at this point. After the steamy debut of Daphne and Simon, Kate and Anthony swept audiences off their feet last year. In the next year, the Bridgerton universe is going to double down even further on this trend.

Bridgerton season 3 will center a new Bridgerton sibling, following the example set by the original source novels by Julia Quinn. However, they will skip the events of book 3 for now to focus on the romance blossoming between Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and his sister's former best friend Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlin), who secretly operates as the gossip columnist Lady Whistledown. Book 3's romance between Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Beckett (who has yet to be cast) may be picked up in season 4, which has already been renewed.

However, more love will be in the air before Bridgerton season 3 premieres. A Bridgerton prequel series focusing on the younger years of Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) is set to premiere on May 4. That series, which will follow her choosing between marrying into the royal family or chasing the love of her life, proves that the sultry shenanigans of the series have much further depths to plumb.
