While Anthony was among season 1's most unlikable characters due to his controlling nature, season 2 successfully redeemed him for many viewers. It dived into his father's tragic death and how that affected him, and Anthony became a more sympathetic figure as a result. Viewers also celebrated his relationship with Kate, his equal in every way. Like Daphne and the Duke, Kate and Anthony had their own rocky road to love but ended season 2 happily married.
While Bridgerton season 3 will focus on Colin and Penelope's romance, both Anthony and Kate have been confirmed to play a role in the new episodes as well. While it's unclear how large of a presence they will have in season 3, Kate and Anthony's portrayers Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey have both indicated they're excited to see more of the romance between their characters going forward, especially since viewers only got a small glimpse of their lives as newlyweds in the previous season.

While it's hard to glean any specific story details from the photos, the wisteria vines behind the actors could indicate the scene takes place in front of the Bridgerton family home, which has been seen often in the show. Kate, Anthony, and the others might have gathered to greet someone, such as Daphne or Francesca, who's been recast for season 3, suggesting she'll play a bigger role in the new episodes than she has in the past. With filming likely to continue on for several months, hopefully, future set photos will offer an even better idea of what viewers can expect from season 3.
At any rate, it's nice to see Kate and Anthony included in a scene with the rest of the Bridgerton family, as it suggests Kate really is one of the group now. Viewers got a small sense of how well she fits in with the rest of the family in season 2, primarily through the memorable pall mall scenes. With any luck, similar moments are on the way for Kate and Anthony in Bridgerton season 3.
