A former star of Bride & Prejudice, Micah Downey passed away suddenly. The 26-year-old American star of the hit Australian reality TV series, Bride and Prejudice - has died according to his pregnant ex-fiancée.
Micah was featured on the 3rd season of the popular Australian show, Bride & Prejudice, aka Bride & Prejudice: The Forbidden Weddings, which is an adaptation of an American series of the same name that aired a few years prior. Every season follows six couples who are planning to wed, but whose family disapproves of their relationship. Australian fans watched as he and his finacée Milly Johnson planned to get married while she was pregnant with her and Micah's second child as they attempted to persuade Milly’s mother into supporting their relationship. However, just seven weeks ago, Milly went to Instagram to reveal that she and Micah called off the wedding and broke up, revealing how difficult of a decision it was for her and how it made her feel deep sadness and heartache.
Micah - the 26-year-old American star of the hit Australian reality series, Bride and Prejudice - died at age 26, announced his ex-fiancée Milly Johnson, who is pregnant with their second child. On December 31st, 2019, Milly posted some tragic news attached to a smiling picture of Micah holding a guitar. She broke the news saying, "It is so sad & unbelievably surreal that I am making this post." The Australian reality TV star revealed, "On the 28 December 2019 Micah Patrick Downey passed away." Micah left behind his two-year-old son with Milly, Julian and her unborn child. She continued the heartbreaking post, writing, "I am struggling to put into words how sad & heartbreaking this is." She continued, writing, "I just hope he is at peace wherever he is & that he will always be watching over his babies." Micah's ex-fiancée wrote that this news feels like "a bad, bad dream." Milly continued, "I can't believe you're not here. Rest In Peach Micah." As of now, the cause of Micah's death remains unknown. Milly also went to Instagram on January 1st to write a tribute with a Dr. Seuss quote, writing, "' Sometimes you’ll never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.' -Dr. Seuss" on a photo of her with Micah smiling, one of Micah and their son Julian taking a shower, and one of Micah playing and singing songs with Julian.
It is heartbreaking to see this young father has passed away at such a young age. Bride & Prejudice fans all over are wondering what it is that caused his death. RIP Micah Downey.
