A hilarious meme shared by PlayStation transforms Mike Ehrmantraut from Breaking Bad into Kratos from God of War. Despite hailing from wildly different properties and worlds, the two fictional characters share features like a bald head and a penchant for murder. Santa Monica Studios' mythological action series has inspired countless memes, including a God of War meme comparing Atreus to Loki, and now Mike from Breaking Bad has been caught in the crossfire.Breaking Bad is known for its fascinating characters and masterful acting, and the character of Mike Ehrmantraut perfectly embodies both qualities. Portrayed by Jonathan Banks, the aging hitman was introduced in the show's second season and quickly became a major part of the AMC crime drama. Mike's popularity, which can be credited to Banks' performance and the character's amusingly stoic demeanor, led to a major role in the nearly-concluded prequel series Better Call Saul. Despite his amazing skills in both deduction and combat, Mike Ehrmantraut has sadly never appeared as a video game protagonist. Series creator Vince Gilligan recently claimed that he pitched a Breaking Bad video game like Grand Theft Auto, but sadly this project remains a mere fantasy.Related: MultiVersus Character Concept Brings Walter White To The Fighting GameAn amazing crossover meme, posted to Twitter by PlayStation UK, turns Breaking Bad's unflappable Mike Ehrmantraut into God of War protagonist Kratos. Considering Mike's bald head and eternally gruff expression, all it takes is a red tattoo to transform him into Atreus' father. Mike is famous for explaining how to deal with situations in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, and PlayStation UK has adapted such a speech to fit Kratos instead. All told, the meme is an amazing tribute to God of War's angry protagonist and Breaking Bad's professional cleaner.

While the God of War series is generally serious, jokes and memes help inject humor into the mythological action franchise. Last year director Cory Barlog joked that God of War is a ripoff of Shrek, with accompanying images actually lending some credibility to this claim. The amusing meme compares the dragon in Shrek to the World Serpent Jormungandr in God of War, with Shrek naturally becoming a stand-in for Kratos. A shot of Kratos comforting Atreus is also a nearly perfect match for a scene of Fiona comforting Donkey in Shrek.

They seem quite different on the surface, but the meme posted by PlayStation illustrates definite similarities between Mike Ehrmantraut and Kratos. The beloved Breaking Bad character has a sketchy past and immense combat skills, with his backstory being explored further in Better Call Saul. Kratos, meanwhile, shares the ruthless hitman's bald head and penchant for grumpiness.

God of War is available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
