Major networks have offered good behavior bonuses to their reality stars. Networks like Bravo, MTV, and TLC have been firing stars for their racist behavior. The networks have made the right call even if some viewers are upset about cancel culture.

Bravo has taken a major hit. Thanks to the reawakening of the Black Lives Matter movement, networks are being forced to hold their reality stars accountable for their inexcusable behavior. Most recently, Bravo was affected by its most popular star, Stassi Schroeder. An interview from 2018 resurfaced where the podcast showed Schroeder laughing about calling the police on her black co-star, Faith Stowers. Due to this and an insensitive Nazi picture, she was let go along with three other cast members. Fans had enough of the networks star’s faux PR apologies. The stars come off as self-righteous and unapologetic.

According to Page Six, the major reality TV networks are starting to realize that their rogue personalities could be a liability to them rather than an asset. The outlet recently reported that a number of major named networks have hired a private investigator to look into some of their own talent’s social media feeds for signs of racism or sexism. Now it appears that most of these networks are offering "good behavior bonuses" when their contracts are being written up.

While most reality TV shows hope for their stars to act badly so their ratings will go up, they do not want personalities that promote negative opinions, especially with the world is in turmoil. The network executives do not want to promote a bunch of goody-two-shoes, but they do expect the reality stars to hold themselves accountable. Many fanatics do not believe that this is a high bar to meet and believe the networks are making the right choices.

Networks such as MTV, TLC and Bravo have all lost major players in their line up thanks to uneducated cast members. Fans are a bit worried that shows will be canceled due to his cleanout. Southern Charm has lost three key cast members during filming. Vanderpump Rules literally has almost no one left, and many feel the show’s time is up. Hopefully with the actions taken by the networks they can curtail this type of bad behavior in the future.
