Just how tall is stand-up comedian and actor Brad Garrett? After starting his career as a comedian in various clubs, Brad Garrett's distinctive voice led him to voice-over work in several high-profile cartoon shows, including 1985's Hulk Hogan's Rock 'n' Wrestling - where he voiced the title character - and an episode of The Real Ghostbusters. He would continue to work steadily in the years that followed, including guest appearances on TV shows like Roseanne, The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air and Lois And Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman.

His breakthrough role was Robert Barone, brother of the titular character in sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. This Ray Romano (The Irishman) fronted series arrived in 1996 and ran for nine seasons. Brad Garrett's Robert is Ray's oldest brother and an NYPD officer. Garrett's deep voice, deadpan delivery, and imposing height became character trademarks and something the sitcom milked for laughs throughout its run. The actor received much praise for his scene-stealing work and won three Primetime Emmy's as Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

With 150 credits to his name, Brad Garrett has much more than Everybody Loves Raymond to his name. In terms of live-action roles, he won great acclaim for his nuanced work as Jackie Gleason in 2002 TV biopic Gleason, fronted his own sitcom with 'Til Death - which ran from 2006 to 2010 - and has made guest appearances on shows like Monk, This is Us and Fargo season 2. He returned to the sitcom well again with 2013's How to Live with Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life), which saw Sarah Clarke's character Polly forced to move back into her parents, played by Garrett and Elizabeth Perkins. The ABC series was cancelled after one season.

One notable thing that's hard to overlook while watching Brad Garrett onscreen is his incredible height, with Celeb Heights revealing he stands a towering 6ft 8 ⅛. While filming Gleason, an extra effort had to be made to make Garrett look shorter, as he was a good deal taller than the real Jackie Gleason.  Garrett is also a prolific voice actor, with his extensive list of credits including Bloat in both Finding Nemo and Finding Dory. He's appeared in several Pixar projects, including Ratatouille and Up. Other major voice roles including Fatso in 1995's Casper, villain Krang in 2016 sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows and Eeyore in both 2018's Disney's Christoper Robin and Ralph Breaks The Internet.

Brad Garrett's run as a familiar face - and voice - in film and TV isn't likely to slow down anytime soon, with one of his most recent roles being on comedy series Single Parents.
