The Boys have taken aim at Disney+ Day in their own parody video promoting Vought+. Well known for its biting satirical take on classic superhero tropes, the fan-favorite Amazon series has been ramping up promotion for its upcoming third season via the ongoing releases of music videos, news articles, and other related clips via their social media presences. Operating YouTube and Twitter accounts on behalf of the show’s fictional corporate conglomerate, Vought International, the show has been leaning hard into creating a slew of fake PR for their less than heroic characters.

Most recently, Disney+, which operates as one of the chief competitors to The Boys’ own Amazon Prime streaming service, has been celebrating its second anniversary with Disney+ Day. In addition to releasing a ton of new content on their platform, such as Marvel Studios Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the streamer has also offered new announcements and special sneak peeks at upcoming shows like the much-anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi series. In order to attract new subscribers, the platform also promoted a limited offer which allowed new users to sign up for their first month at a discounted rate.

None of this seems to have escaped the creative team behind The Boys, and the show was quick to fire back with their own Vought+ Day video on their Vought International Twitter account, encouraging users “to sign up now before the subscription increase next week.” Featuring the show’s main superheroes, Homelander, A-Train, Black Noir, Starlight, and Queen Maeve, the video promotes Vought’s own fictional streaming service which gives audiences “the power to control the greatest content in the world.” Check out the video below:

While it is not yet known when The Boys season 3 will hit screens, their ongoing promotional efforts have been giving fans much to chuckle about in the interim. With the Vought International YouTube channel formerly teasing the arrival of The Boys’ own version of Wolverine, Groundhawk, this latest clip continues the show’s much-beloved trend of poking fun at the rampant commercialization of superheroes. This latest clip is not even the first time that the show’s morally bankrupt mega-corporation, Vought, has been compared with Disney, with the in-show Vought Studios often made to deliberately mirror Disney’s own Marvel Studios.

Of course, with fans hungry for any hint about when the show’s third season will finally air and what it may have in store, this latest clip is likely to heighten anticipation. With The Boys’ publicity team doing a great job of bringing the show’s trademark satire out into the public realm, audiences will be hoping that someday soon, one of these videos may reveal a release date. In the meantime, fans of The Boys will undoubtedly have a lot more to expect from the show’s social media channels.
